Tak je tu koniec --- The end is here at last

Ja to tu teda balim. Posledny skolsky tyzden je za mnou a toto je moj posledny prispevok. Budem tu este buduci tyzden, ale sa mi uz nechce pisat. Chcem sa Vam podakovat za pozornost a ze ste to tu so mnou takto rok vydrzali a dufam, ze ste sa nieco nove o Norsku dozvedeli. Nuz ale teda posledny tyzden. V pondelok sme mali skolu - chvilocku. A potom volno az do piatku :-D. V pondelok poobede sa vratila Hilde z USA. Spoluziacky, kamarati a znami jej doma pripravili prekvapenie. Mnohi plakali od stastia a bolo vela zvitani. V utorok a stredu som hral golf. V stredu vecer bola skolska slavnost pri prilezitosti ukoncenia skolskeho roka. Bol prenajaty kulturny dom v Jordet - asi 15 km od centra Trysilu. Takze som bol tam a domov som sa zviezol s Linusom a Håvardom asi o 1:00. Vo stvrtok som si pozariadoval zopar veci a v piatok vysvedcenie. Zlepsenie oproti minulemu roku. 4 z novej norstiny, 5ky z ustnej a pisomnej norstiny, pisomnej anglictiny a telesnej. Inac 6ky. Takze dobre. Po odovzdani vysvedceni sme sa presu nuli do haly kde bol pripraveny program. Zo skoly som si isiel zatrenovat na golf, kedze som v sobotu hral juniorsky turnaj B-,C-,D-Tour. Islo to dost zle, takze som sa obaval ze spravim klubu hanbu, ale v sobotu to az take zle nebolo. Ja s mojim HCP 26,5 som bol zaradeny do C-Tour. Hralo sa systemom Stableford (na body) 1 kolo. Prisli juniori z niektorych okolitych klubov ako Rena a Hamar a dokopy nas bolo asi 31 - 12 v mojej kategorii. Hral som s 2 12-rocnymi chlapcami, jeden lepsi odo mna a druhi horsi. Nemali sme navzajom ziadne problemy, takze sa islo velmi dobre. Prvu deviatku som zahral vyborne s asi 3 parmi a s 21 STB som lezal na 2. mieste. Na 10 jamke som dal chip-in na birdie ale potom mi pomaly odisla hra so zelezami a trapil som sa az do konca. Konecny vysledok 34 STB stacil na 4. miesto. Som to pokaslal, ale co uz... Aspon som dostal peknu siltacku namiesto pohara :-D. Vecer boli pozvani ku nam Cech Tomas s manzelkou Ingvild a detmi. Posedeli sme spolu zo hodinku zo dve, dopozeral som futbal a siel spat.Zaspal som asi okolo 2:00. Neviem ci to bolo kavou alebo tym svetlom vonku :-P. V nedelu rano som si s Linusom siel zahrat golf a vecer som mal goodbye party. Grilovali sme vonku a upiekol som kolac, ktory celkom nedrzal pokope, ale chutil dobre :-D. Zahrali sme volejbal a potom aj biliard. Zopar z nich este uvidim, kym odijdem. Nechce sa mi odist... Buduci tyzden pojdeme pozriet Evinu rodinu na zapadne pobrezie Norska, kde som bol v aprili. Dufam ze nam pocasie vyjde. A v sobotu letim do tepla. Tak toto bol moj rok v Norsku.


I am finished with this. The last school week is behind me and this is my last post. I am going to be here next week as well but I do not want to write more. I want to than you for your attention and hope that you learned something new about Norway. But back to my last week. We were at school for a while on Monday and then came we back to school first on Friday. Hilde arrived home after a year in Chicago and her friends organized a surprise party for her. There were lots of tears and hugs... I played golf on Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday evening, there was a school party in Jordet - 15 km from the city centre. So I was there and got a lift back home from Linus and Håvard at 1 am. On Thursday I fixed a couple of things and on Friday was the last day at school. My school report was not so bad - 4 from New Norwegian and 5 from written and oral Norwegian, written English and PE. Otherwise 6. After we got our school reports we went to the gym hall where the teachers arranged a program for us. After the school I went to practice golf as I played a junior tournament B-,C-,D-Tour on Saturday. My play was very bad so I was afraid that I was going to be a shame for the club but I did not play so bad on Saturday. I played in C-Tour as I have HCP 26,5. We played 18 holes with Stableford. There were 31 participants,12 in my category, mostly from the golf clubs in the vicinity like Rena and Hamar. I played with 2 12-year old boys - one better nad one worse than me. We did not argue during the round so the atmosphere was very good between us. I played the front 9 very well with maybe 3 pars. With 21 STB I was on the 2. place. Then I birdied the 10th hole but afterwards I had problems with my long play and struggled to get some points. The final result of 34 points was enough for the fourth place. I blew it but I can not do anything about it now... And I got a cap instead of a cup :-D. In the evening, Thomas and Ingvild with their children were invited to us. We were drinking coffee and speaking for two hours. Then I watched the rest of the soccer match and went to sleep. I fell asleep first at 2:00. I do not know if it was because of the coffee or the light outside :-P. On Sunday I played golf with Linus and there was a goodbye party in the evening. We were grilling and I baked a cake. I did not succeed but it tasted very good:-D. We played also volleyball and billiard. Next week we are going to visit Eva's family on Norwegian west coast. I was there in april. I hope the weather is going to be good. And on Saturday I am flying back to my warm homeland. Well, this was my year.

Na toto sme isli po tom, co sme sa najedli. Museli sme zacat z lahka :-D / We rode on this merry-go-round after we had eaten. We had to take it easy :-)

Håvard a Elise sa zabavali. Mne uz ku koncu dna prislo trosku zle :-P / Håvard and Elise had fun. I was a bit sick at the end of the day :-P

Z parku sme sa sli najest do mesta. Mne sa neuslo vela tej vybornej pizze.Ja som si objednal salat ktory bol trocha mensi ako som predpokladal, ale hladny som neodisiel :-D / We went to eat out. I did not eat pizza as I ordered a salat. It was a bit smaller than I had expected but I did not go home hungry :-D.

V piatok rano sme sa vypratali z chatky a sup na vlak... / Friday morning we emptied our cottage and left to the train station...

Nase kupe sa podozrivo rychlo vyprazdnilo... Urcite kvoli tomu ze sa robili fotky s lizatkami asi pol hodinu :-D... / Our compartment became suspicously quick empty... Surely because of taking the photos with lollypops for 30 minutes :-D

A opat v Göteborgu --- In Göteborg again

Co sa tyka skoly, tak tu uz ani nie je o com pisat. V pondelok mi zavolala Elise ze ci sa nechcem pripjoit na trojdnovy vylet do Göteborgu, ktory zorganizoval Håvard. Napadlo ich to v pondelok a mali sme odist v stredu. Tak som rychlo musel zohnat povolenie od STS. Poobede som si siel s Linusom zahrat 9 jamiek. V utorok som si v skole odsedel asi 3 hodiny. V stredu bolo vyhlasenie ustnych skusok. Bola minimalna sanca, ze by nas vytiahli a nastastie sa tak nestalo a o 13:00 sme mohli piati vyrazit do Göteborgu. Fotogaleria v nasledujucom prispevku. Autobus do Osla a vlak do Göteborgu. Vlakom sme vsak dosli len do hranicneho mesta Halden. Tam nam povedali ze su vo Svedsku problemy s tratou a ze musime ist autobusom. Tak sme vystupili a potom nam povedali, ze pojdeme obchadzkou, ale predsa vlakom. Tak sme sli vlakom asi 30 minut. Potom sme zrazu zastali a povedali nam ze doslo k nedorozumeniam a musime sa vratit a predsa ist autobusom. Uzasne :-D... Nikto z nas z toho nebol nadseny, nakolko vo vlaku je to ovela pohodlnejsie, ale co sa da robit. Do Göteborgu sme prisli okolo 23:00. Nastupili sme na elektricku a odviezli sme sa k nasemu "campingu" s nazvom Lisebergsbyn-Kärralund - pomenovaneho podla zabavneho parku, do ktoreho sme sli na druhy den. Dostali sme jednu malu chatku len s kuchynkou a 4 postelami, ale nam to stacilo. Nakolko sme boli 5, obetoval som sa a spal na zemi :-P Esteze mali so sebou karimatku (dufam ze sa to tak vola). Takze sme sa vyspinkali, naranajkovali a sli na recepciu kupit si listky do zabavneho parku Liseberg. Otvaral az o 13:00, takze sme si este sli zahrat minigolf a z tadial peso do parku. Atrakcii bolo vela. Husenkove drahy, kolotoce, megahupacky, veze kde ta na stolicke vyviezli hore a pustili volnym padom dole :-D. Navyse tam bolo este kopu roznych stankov s obcerstvenim a inymi aktivitami. Bol to pekny zazitok, nakolko to bolo po prvy krat. Odisli sme asi o 21:00 a sli sa najest do mesta a domov. V piatok rano sme sa pobalili a nasadli na vlak do Osla. Tentokrat uz vsetko slo pekne. Do Trysilu som prisiel okolo 22:00. Stihol som si pozriet koniec zapasu Holandsko - Francuzsko a siel sa vyspat. Po troch dnoch a 8 hodinovej ceste som to potreboval. V sobotu som si siel zabehat, ucil som sa literaturu, ale inak nic zaujimaveho. V nedelu rano som si pozrel 3 kolo U.S. Open a nasledne siel na golf. Chcel som trenovat, ale trener cislo 2 sa ma spytal ze ci si s nimi nepojdem zahrat. Tak sme zahrali 9 jamiek. Oni pokracovali a ja som siel domov. Vecer som so zopar ludmi z triedy siel k spoluziakovi Hognemu, ktory bol tento rok v Amerike. Tam sme jedli taco a pozreli si Fantom opery. A zajtra zacina posledny skolsky tyzden :-D

There is nothing left to write about the school. On Monday Elise called me and asked if I did not want to join them on a 3-days trip to Göteborg organized by Håvard. They came up with this idea on Monday and we went on Wednesday. So I had to get a permission from STS quite quickly. In the afternoon I played 9 holes with Linus.On Tuesday we had 3 lessons at school. On Wednesday the oral exams were announced. There was only a small chance that we could be picked and it fortunately did not happen so we could travel to Göteborg at 13:00. Photogallery from the trip is in the next post.Bus to Oslo and train to Göteborg. But we had to stop in the border city Halden. We were told that there were problems with the railway on the Swedish side so we had to get out and wait for the bus. Then they told us that everything was OK and we could drove in a different direction to Göteborg. So the train went on the next 30 minutes. Then it stopped and we were told that many misunderstandings had happened so we had to return and take bus. We arrived at Göteborg at 23:00, tired. We took a tram to our "camping place" Lisebergsbyn - Kärralund which is named after the amusement park which we visited the next day. We stayed in a small cabin with kitchen and 4 beds. As we were 5 persons I decided to sleep on the floor. Fortunately they had a camping mat :-D. Next day, we ate the breakfast and went to the reception to buy the tickets to Liseberg. It opened first at 13:00 so we played crazy golf and then walked to the amusement park. There were many attractions. Roller coasters, towers, swings ... It was a nice experience as it was for the first time. We went home at 21:00, had a dinner in the city centre and took tram back to our cabin. Friday morning we packed our things and got on the train to Oslo. This time everything went OK. I arrived at Trysil at 22:00. I watched the rest of the Netherland - France soccer match and went to sleep. I needed it after 3 days and 8-hours journey. On Saturday I was watching the U.S. Open, jogging and learning about the Slovakian literature.Otherwise nothing interesting. On Sunday I watched the 3rd round of U.S.Open and then went to golf course. I wanted to practice but my second trainer called me to play with them. So we played 9 holes. They continued and I went home. In the evening I went with my friends to our classmate Hogne who was in USA this school year. There we ate taco and watched The Phantom of the opera. Tomorrow begins the last school week... :-D

Leto pokracuje --- The summer continues

Minuly tyzden sme si vsetci uzili slnka az az. Teploty skoro 30 stupnov, poriadne sa nedalo ani dychat. V skole uz toho vela nerobime, aspon ti, co maju skusky za sebou. Na nemcine sme hrali nejaku hru a na francuzstine sme sa ucili vonku. Tam nam doniesol jeden ucitel na osviezenie drink na obrazku. Mile mat takych ucitelov na skole:-P. S matematikou sme na tento rok skoncili, takze som siel na golf. Trocha potrenovat a zahrat 9 jamiek. Inac len teplo a slnko. V stredu Eva odletela do USA pozriet Hildu a byt na jej graduation party. Vrati sa vo stvrtok a Hilde v pondelok. Vo stvrtok podvecer som mal golfovy trening a po nom sme s kamaratmi a kamaratkami isli grilovat a kupat sa v rieke.

Voda studena, takze to sme len vbehli a vybehli
:-D. Ale mimo vody dost teplo. Zostali sme asi do 23:30 a potom sa pobrali domov, nakolko pribudalo komarov. Svetla bolo vsak pozehnane. V piatok na francuzstine sme sa po dlhom case opat nieco naucili :-P, potom sme si na dejepise pozreli dokumentarny film a mali 2 hodiny volna, kde sme lezali v skole na travniku a opalovali sa, popripade hrali futbal. Na anglictine sme opat hrali nejaku hru. Konecne mi prisli vysledky Bergenstestu - test norstiny vyssej urovne. Mal som 650 bodov zo 700. Ludia so 700 bodmi sa mozu povazovat za dvojjazycnych, takze som celkom spokojny:-D. Po skole prisli ku mne spoluziaci Håvard a Jan Morten a hrali sme biliard a squash. V sobotu rano som s Johnom, Atlem a ich znamym Henrym (ktory hovori trocha po srbsky, takze to bola sranda sa s nim porozpravat:-D) vytiahnut ryby z rieky. Oni den predtym nasadili do rieky boje so sietami a na druhy den sme boli len chytit ulovok. Dost sa nam to teraz vydarilo. Zo 8 stuk a 3 Corogenus lavaretus (neviem SK nazov - taka obycajna biela ryba velkosti pstruha :-)) Potom som si siel zahrat 18 jamiek - nedarilo sa az tak ale zle to nebolo. Ked som prisiel domov, pozrel som si otvaraci zapas EM Svajciarsko - Cesko. V nedelu som isiel spolu s Håvardovou rodinou do Glomdalsmuseet v Elverume. Jeho otec je tam riaditelom, takze som zobral aj Cesku Lenku a dostali sme podrobnu prednasku. uz cestou do Elverumu mi porozpraval celu vojnovu historiu Norska - ma Master v etnologii, takze sa vyzna v tom co hovori. V muzei sme najprev pozreli vystavy venovane Romom (ano, dobre pocujete, maju o nich vystavy) a somalskych pristahovalcoch. V ten isty den bol v muzei aj zraz veteranov - takze tam bola kopu starych anglickych Vauxhall a Bedford tusim ci ako sa to volalo.

Nasledne nas Jan povodil po skanzene. Maju tam asi 93 starych drevenych domov z tejto oblasti. A vo vacsine nam toho porozpraval naozaj vela. Lepsiu prednasku by nam nespravil ani sprievodca:-). A to bol tak koniec tyzdna.





The last week there was more than enough of sun. Temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius, we could not even breathe. We do not do a lot of things at school now, at least the ones who have had exams already. We played a game on German and we learned outside during the French lessons. One teacher served us drinks like the one on the picture. It is nice to have such teachers at school :-P. We are finished with math for this year so I went to play golf. I practiced and played 9 holes. Otherwise just warmth and sun, nothing interesting. On Wednesday Eva went to visit Hilde in Chicago and participate at her graduation party. She comes on Thursday and Hilde on Monday. On Thursday I had a golf practice and then I went grilling and swimming in the river with my friends.

Water was cold so we just jumped in and then ran back again :-D. But it was warm outside. We went home at 23:30 as there were many mosquitos. But there was still a lot of light. Unbelievable. On Friday we learned a lot on the French lesson, we watche a documentary on history lesson and then we were sunbathing outside since we had 2 free lessons. On English we played some game again. I got finally the results of the Bergenstest - the test of Norwegian skill of higher level. I got 650 points out of 700. 700 hundred is a level of a common Norwegian so I am quite content. After the school Håvard and Jan Morten came and we played pool and squash. Saturday morning, I went together with Atle, John and their friend Henry (who speaks a bit Serbian, so it was funny to talk with him..) to take the fish out of the river. The day before, they set up the nets and the next day we just picked up the fishes which got caught. We were quite successful - 8 northern pikes and 3 powans. After that I went to play 18 holes - it did not went well but OK. When I came home I watched the opening match of the soccer EM Switzerland - Czech republic. I went to Glomdalsmuseet in Elverum with Håvard's family on Sunday. His father is a director there so I took Lenka from Czech republic with us and we could not have a better guide. Already on the way to Elverum he told me everything about the WWII in Norway - he's got a Master grade in ethnology so he knows what he is talking about. In the museum we walked through the expositions dedicated to gypsies and immigrants from Somalia. There was also a meeting of owners of old Vauxhall and Bedford cars so there was a lot to see.

After that Jan showed us some of the 93 old wooden houses from the local district. Some of them almost 400 years old. And that was the end of my week.

Milujem skusky (skusky --> volno --> golf) --- I love the exams (exams --> free --> golf)

Takze uz je to len 27 dni, kym odidem... Tento tyzden sa niesol v znameni priprav na skusky z nemciny. Takze vo vyucovani bol dost bordel, nakolko mnohe hodiny sme mali nemcinu. Navyse nam niektore hodiny odpadavali kvoli skuskam. V utorok sme mali 4 hodiny nemciny a potom sme sli domov. A to bol koniec mojho skolskeho tyzdna :-D - preto mam rad skusky. V stredu som mal mat 4hodinovku norstiny, ale ucitel nam dal volno, vo stvrtok mali skusky tretiaci, takze nam odpadla sociologia a dejepisar nam dal volno a v piatok boli skusky z anglictiny, takze sme mali volno :-P. Takze som mal tri dni volna na ucenie sa nemciny, ktore som vyuzil na .... ehm, golf. Teda zvacsa, trosku aj na nemcinu :-P. Vonku je 24 stupnov a citil som sa skoro ako pri Stredozemnom mori, tak hadam nebudem sediet doma nad nemcinou (obzvlast ked som nad nou sedel poslednych 6 rokov). Tak som si v stredu zahral prvych 18 jamiek sezony - islo to celkom dobre, hlavne ze pocasie bolo pekne. Trocha som oskvrcal, takze nasledujuce dni som uz pouzival slnecny krem. Vo stvrtok som varil veceru, takze som nesiel na golf. Upiekol som sedliacke fondue, takze som pozval aj starych rodicov, nech sa to vsetko poje a pojedlo sa akurat :-). V piatok som si siel s Linusom zahrat 18 jamiek. Nehral som tak dobre ako v stredu ale opat som ocenil krasne teple pocasie. V sobotu bol otvaraci turnaj klubu, na ktory som sa prihlasil v stredu, kedze som bol spokojny s mojou hrou. Citil som sa sice unavene, ale co uz narobim ked som prihlaseny. Hralo sa systemom Stableford (na body) s tromi palicami + putter. Tak som dlho rozmyslal ze co zobrat a nakoniec som sa rozhodol pre 4 zelezo, 7 zelezo a SW. Mal som v pohode flight, takze hra bola prijemna. Prva deviatka OK a druha velmi dobre - mal som troska stastia ale mnohe udery boli vynikajuce, navyse mi zacali padat dolezite putty. Takze nakoniec som nazbieral 35 bodov - a to prekvapujuco bolo dost na vyhru celeho turnaja :-D. S tym som neratal. Takze som vyhral 500 korunovu poukazku do golfoveho proshopu, musim si ist nieco kupit :-P. Vecer som si pozrel Desperada a siel spat. V nedelu som sa naranajkoval a zacal si opakovat nemcinu z tohto roka. Potom som kosil travnik a pisal blog. Podvecer som si siel este zabehat a to bolo tak vsetko. Zajtra skusky z nemciny a potom dufam ze menej a menej skoly a viac a viac golfu :-D. Vela dni mi tu uz nezostava...


Only 27 days to go... This week was about the preparation for the German exams. So there was quite of a mess in our lesson plan since we replaced many lessons with German lessons. In addition, a lot of lessons were cancelled because of other exams. On Tuesday we had 4 lessons German and then went home. And that was the end of my school week :-D - that is why I love exams. On Wednesday I should have had 4 lessons Norwegian but our teacher gave us free, on Thursday, the seniors had their exams, so the Sociology was cancelled and we got free from our History teacher and on Friday, the English exam took place so we had a free again. Therefore I had 3 days to prepare for the exam. And I used them to .... ehm, playing golf. Mostly. I learned German a bit as well :-P. There is 24 grades of Celsius outside and I was feeling like by the Mediterranian sea, so I could not sit at home and learn German (I was doing it for the last 6 years). On Wednesday I played my first 18 holes of the season - I played quite well, the most important thing was the nice weather. I got partly sunburnt so I was using the sun cream during the next days. On Thursday I was cooking the dinner so I did not play golf. I invited also the granparents because it was a food for 6 persons. On FridayI played 18 holes with Linus. I did not play as well as on Wednesday but I appreciated again the gorgeous weather. On Saturday there was the opening tournament of Trysil golf club. I enrolled on Wednesday because I was content with my level of play. I felt tired but I was enrolled so I did not have any choice. We played with stableford system and could use only 3 clubs + putter. I was thinking for a while but finally I decided for 4 iron, 7 iron and SW. My flight was nice so it was a beautiful day. Front 9 was OK and back 9 very good - I was lucky but I had some good shots as well and the most important fact was that I began sinking important putts. After 18 holes I had 35 points and that was surprisingly enough to win the whole tournament :-P. It was a really big surprise. I won a 500 crowns voucher for the goods in the proshop, so I will have to buy something:-D. In the evening I watched Desperado and went to sleep. Sunday morning I ate breakfast and mowned the lawn. I learned German as well and wrote the blog. In the evening I went jogging and that is all. Tomorrow I have the German exam and after that hopefully less and less school and more and more golf. There are not many days left...

Skusky --- The Exams

Pomaly sa nam uz blizi koniec maja a mne sa to stale zda ako vcera co som sem prisiel. V pondelok som na norstine pokracoval so spracovavanim knihy - uz mi vela nechyba. Na anglictine som pisal sloh - ze ak dostanem 6ku, tak mam narok na 6ku z pisomnej anglictiny. Ale dostal som 5ku, takze to bude opat 5ka - ona si tam vzdy najde nejake malicke chyby a stiahne mi znamku - a to nie len mne. Na sociologii sme si opakovali ucivo na skusky a ptom som isiel zariadit nejake veci do centra. Po nemcine som siel domov a potom zabehat s Elisou a Mariou. Tie viac rozpravali ako behali, ale tak ja som si uz zvykol :-D. Ziadny problem. Vecer sme isli na narodeninovu oslavu k manzelovi Johnovej tety Arneho(alebo brata otca manzelky Cecha Tomasa, ak sa vam to lahsie pochopi :-P - vsetci su tu poprepajani nejakym sposobom :-D) Tak sme sa najedli, dali kolacik, pozreli futbal a sli domov. V utorok nic zaujimaveho, v stredu 4hodinovka sociologie - opat opakovanie uciva z celeho roka. Poobede jogging. Stvrtok vyucovanie do 12:00. Z tadial som si siel troska zatrenovat na driving a potom opat do skoly na vyhlasenie skusok. Ako ziak 2 rocnika musim mat jednu skusku - ustnu alebo pisomnu. Teraz sa vyhlasovali pisomne skusky a pocitac ma vytiahol, takze nebudem musiet mat ustne skusky tyzden pred koncom roka :-). Velka cast nasej triedy bola vytiahnuta na nemcinu. Ruky a kolena sa roztriasli, hlavy padali so zarmutkom do dlani... :-) A ja som len zatal past a vykrikol Ano, ked som pocul svoje meno. Takze som sa krasne vyhol skuske z matematiky. Aka skoda:-). Stvrtok popoludni bola brigada na golfovom hrisku. Kazda jamka ma ludi, ktori su za nu zodpovedni na zaciatku a na konci sezony. Cistia sa odpaliska, vyrezava sa trava okolo odtokov ... My sme mali s Evou a Atlem jednu peknu 5 parovku :-P. Poriadne prsalo, takze sme boli celi zmoknuti a navyse sme ani nesli na trening :-(. Esteze Eva doma pripravila vafle s kavou:-). V piatok sme sa pripravovali skoro cely den na skusky z nemciny s nasou nemcinarkou. Ja som si odbehol z tadial na hodinu telesnej a potom som opat pokracoval az do konca vyucovania. Poobede som sa opat venoval zo 2 hodinky nemcine a uz mi zacala mysel preskakovat do nemeckeho modu. Vyborne, tak to ma byt:-). Vecer som si pozrel Brokeback Mountain - pekna kamera ale inac nezaujimave. V sobotu rano som piekol kolac, nakolko mam na nedelu pozvanych zopar kamaratov a kamaratiek. Potom som si zacvicil a siel na golf. Tam som bol na drivingu, potom som si zahral kratke ihrisko - dost nestabilne som hral. Tak som siel znova na driving a opat naspat na hrisko. Uz to bolo stabilne, aj ked to moze byt este lepsie. Uvidime ako to pojde na velkom hrisku. Cestou naspat ma zastihol dazd, takze ma opat poriadne osprchoval. Podvecer sme isli s Evou a Atlem na strelnicu. Atle bude mat zachvilu skusky na lovecky preukaz, takze musi trenovat. Eva hadzala do vzduchu take specialne oranzove disky a my sme strielali. Celkom sranda. Potom som si aj ja vyskusal hadzanie. Vecer som sa este venoval nemcine, pozrel si Letca a siel spat.Na druhy den rano som si siel s Elisou zabehat, nadherne teple pocasie - konecne. Potom som osupal zemiaky na veceru a siel na golf. Kratka hra super, ale odpaly opat nesli:-). Po navrate som zacal s pripravou jedla na stretnutie. Eva mi ukazala ako pripravit gratinovane zemiaky v smotane. Trosku som si to zle vypocital s casom, ale napokon som stihol spravit salat,nakrajat maso a vsetko ostatne. Zemiaky som nestihol premiesavat, takze trocha prihoreli zospodu, ale chutili dobre :-P Prislo asi 12 ludi, takze sa vsetko zjedlo bez problemov... Po veceri sme si dali kolac s kavou a sli vonku hrat bedminton. Potom som este zopar ludi vyplieskal v biliarde a siel spat :-)



The end of May is approaching and it looks to me like I came only
yesterday. On Monday I resumed with my book analysis - I am almost
finished. On English I wrote an essay - if I get a 6 I can get a 6
on the school report as well. But I have got a 5 so it is going to
be a 5 from the written English - she can always find some little
mistakes there - and that is not only my case. On Sociology we
repeated what we have learned this year and then I went to the city
centre to buy some ingrediences for a cake I was going to make.
After the German I went home and then went jogging with Elise and
Maria. They were talking a lot but I got used to it :-P No problem.
In the evening we were on a birthday party of Arne - husband of
John's aunt (or the brother of father of wife of Tomas from Czech
republic, if it is easier to understand :-P - everybody here is connected :-D. We ate the dinner and then cake and watched football. On Tuesday nothing interesting, on Wednesday 4 lessons of Sociology - repetition again. Jogging in the evening. On Thursday school til 12:00. Then I went to practice for a while on the driving range and then back to school for exams announcement. As a junior I have to take one exam - oral or written. On that day, the written exams were announced and the computer picked me up, so I won't have to take oral exams a few days before the school end. A big part of our class has been picked up for German exam. Hands and knees began to shiver, heads were falling into the palms...:-D And I just called out YES! when I heard my name. So I managed to avoid the math exams. What a shame:-D. Thursday afternoon there was a voluntary work on the golf course before the opening on Friday. Every hole has some people who are responsible for it in the beginning and at the end of the season - cleaning up the tees, raking the grass, cutting the grass around the water sprinkles... Eva, Atle and me have a par 5 hole so there is a lot to do:-D. The rain was just pouring down so we were soon drenched so I could not go to the practice :-(. Fortunately, Eva prepared waffles and coffee at home :-). On Friday we were preparing ourselves for the German exam with our German teacher. I went meanwhile to PE lesson and then I resumed with German to the end of the school day. In the afternoon I worked with German for 2 hours and I started to think in German. I am getting crazy. But it should be like this :-P. In the evening I watched The Brokeback Mountain - nice camera but quite boring. Saturday morning I was baking a cake as I invited some friends for Sunday evening. Then I exercised a bit and drove to golf course. I practiced on the driving range for a while and then I played on the short golf course. So I went back to driving range and back on the course again. It was more stable even though it can be better. We will see how it is going to look like on the big golf course. On the way back it began to rain so I was drenched again. In the evening I went together with Atle and Eva to the local shooting range. Atle is going to take hunting licence test soon so he has to practice. Eva was throwing such small orange discs in the air and we were shooting. It was fun. Then I tried to throw as well. In the evening I learned German again, watched The Aviator and went to sleep. Next morning I went jogging with Elise, beautiful warm sunny weather – eventually. Then I peeled the potatoes for the dinner and went to play golf. Great short game but drives were terrible again. When I came back I began with the preparation of the meal. Eva showed me how to prepare gratinated potatoes in the whipping cream. I did not have much time but fortunately I managed to cook everything. Potatoes were a bit burned but they tasted OK :-P. Maybe 12 persons came so everything was eaten . Then we had a cake with coffee and played badminton outside. Afterwards we played pool and then I went to sleep.

17. maj - Den Ustavy --- 17. of May - The Constitution Day

Tak som po tyzdni naspat. Pocasie sa vyrazne zhorsilo. Fukalo, prsalo a bola zima. V pondelok bolo volno, nakolko bol pinsedag. Neviem ako sa to povie po slovensky, ale je to 50 dni po Velkej Noci, ked Duch Svaty zostupil z neba a dal apostolom schopnost hovorit vsetkymi jazykmi aby mohli sirit krestanstvo. Tu v Norsku to oslavuju volnym dnom. Ten cas tu leti tak rychlo, ze sa mi splyva den so dnom a poriadne si nepamatam co sa stalo. Viem len, ze som bol s Johnom na futbalovom zapase. V utorok nam na norstine rozpraval jeden ujo zo skoly o skuskach, ktore sa budu robit cez pocitace. Ako tam budu vypinat a zapinat internet, monitorovat bluetooth a rozne taketo opatrenia aby predisli podvodom. Neviem preco nam radsej nemozu dat do ruky papier a ceruzku:-D... Na matematike som dostal z tej celodennej pisomky 6ku :-D:-D:-D Som mal viac stastia ako rozumu a este ma ma aj ucitelka rada. Ja som ocakaval tak 4, ale niektore priklady som vyriesil dobre, aj ked som s tym nepocital. Tak fajn. V stredu stvorhodinovka anglictiny. Pozerali sme vyborny film Freedom writers. Bolo to o ucitelke triedy, kde je mix roznych ras a kde su studenti clenmi roznych gangov, aby prezili rasove potycky v Los Angeles. Poobede som prisiel domov a hned som si lahol, nakolko ma bolela hlava. Prechladnuty som este stalo, ale uz to pomina. Nastastie som sa dokazal vzchopit a siel na golfovy trening. Opat som poriadne nevedel trafit do lopty :-P... Vo stvrtok sociologia. Zacali sme s pripravou na mozne ustne skusky. V piatok sme mali na telesnej Cooperov test - 12 minutovka. Zabehol som 2700 m, co je o 200 m lepsie ako naposledy, ale aj tak pochybujem, ze dostanem 6ku z telesnej. V sobotu bol vrchol celeho tyzdna a vyznamny den pre vsetkych Norov - 17.5.. 17.5.1814 bola prijata v Eidsvolle ustava a Norsko sa odtrhlo od Danska a stalo sa sucastou Svedska, kde mali ovela viac slobody. Podla mna je to z blata do kaluze, ale oni ten datum maju radi :-D. Takze oslavy prebiehaju po celej krajine. Ludia sa obliekaju do krojov. Je to zaroven aj den pre deti - mozu jest tolko zmrzliny a hot dogov a pit tolko limonady kolko chcu. A potom samozrejme mnohe zvracaju :-D. Ale inac je v kazdom meste celodenny program. V Trysile to zacalo tzv. salutom o 6:00. To znamenalo ze niekde v lese odpalili 3 dynamity za sebou, cize nas dom sa 3krat poriadne otriasol. Ja som s Evou zacal oslavu az o 8:30. To bolo kladenie vencov pri pomniku za vsetkych Trysilcanov, ktori polozili zivoty za slobodu krajiny. Orchester zahral nejaku skladbu a muzsky spevacky zbor spieval hymnu. 17.5. bol tento rok dost chladny. Okolo 2 stupnov a snezilo. Aspon v Trysile. Tak ale tu je mozne vsetko:-P. Takze sme isli k starej mame a dali si kolacik s kavou. Pozreli sme si ako idu oslavy v Osle. Kralovska garda mala vlastny program a bol dost dychberuci. Dobre nacviceny. A po nich zacal detsky sprievod. Zucastnilo sa 110 skol. Tie pochodovali cez hlavnu ulicu a popri zamku. Tam bol na balkone cela kralovska rodina a mavala im. Ono mi to trocha pripominalo Hitler Jugend, vsetky tie deti mavajuce vlajkami a pochodujuce, ale tsssss, to zostane len medzi nami:-). Rozodne to je celkom pekny zvyk. O 11 zacal detsky sprievod v Trysile. Video je samozrejme na youtube. Potom sme si isli sadnut do restauracie na kolac a kavu. Je to zvykom, ze na 17.5. sa chodi jets do restauracii. Nasledne som bol chvilku doma a o 16:00 som bol znova v meste, aby som si pozrel sprievod maturantov. Pripravili si rozne scenky, ktore pocas sprievodu predvadzali - celkom vtipne :-).

O 17:00 bol program v kulturaku, kde hrali a spievali orchester, muzsky spevacky zbor a 7macke triedy. je to totiz tak, ze vzdy rodicia 7makov su zastupeni vo vybore pre 17. maj a organizuju cele oslavy. Vecer som si pozrel akurat Housa a siel spat. V nedelu rano som sa naranajkoval, povysaval si izbu, zobral bycikel, 7micku zelezo a siel na driving. A zrazu to uz lietalo. Takze to znamena ze nabuduce to lietat nebude :-D. Inac som sa naucil zopar papierov dejepisu ale inac uz nic takeho zaujimaveho. Moznoze si este pojdem zabehat. O tyzden som spat.


After one week I am back again. The weather get worse. It was blowing, raining and cold. We had a free on Monday. It was pinsedag - I do not know how to say it in English, but it is 50 days after the Easter when the Holy Spirit came and gave the disciples the ability to speak all the languages so they could spread the christianity in every land. Here in Norway, they have a free day. The time is passing by very quickly and I cannot exactly remember everything what has happened. I know I was on a soccer match with John on Monday. On Tuesday one guy form the school was telling us about the rules for the exams which, some of them, we have to write on PC. So he told us everything what they are going to do to prevent cheating. I do not understand why they just cannot give as a sheet of paper and a pen :-D. On Math I got a 6 from the whole-day-exam :-D. I was lucky and in addition, my teacher has to like me. I was convinced that I was going to get a 4. But OK. On Wednesday 4 lessons of English. We watched a great film - Freedom writers. It is about a class which consists of students of different races who are fighting every day for their survival in L.A. In the afternoon I came home and went to sleep because I had terrible headaches. It was probably cold but now I am getting a bit better. Fortunately I felt better after the sleep so I went to golf practice. I was not able to hit the ball properly again :-D On Friday we had a Coopers test on PE - 12 minutes of running. I made 2700m what is 200 m better than the last time but I do not think I can get a 6 on the school report. On Saturday was the top of the week and a very important day for every Norwegian - 17.5.. On the 17 of May 1814, the Norwegians set up their own constitution and became independent from Denmark. They became a part of Sweden where they had more freedom. Every single city celebrates this day. People go dressed in their national costumes. And it is also a day for the children - they cen eat unlimited scoops of ice-cream, number of sausages and drink unlimited litres of fizzy drinks. And many of them have to throw up afterwards :-D. But otherwise, there is a program in each city during the whole day. In Trysil it began with a so called salut at 6:00. They blowed up 3 dynamites in the forrest, so our house trembled 3 times. For Eva and me began celebrations at 8:30 with the wreath-putting to the memory stone of Trysil people who died for a free Norway. The local orchestra played one song and the male choir sang the anthem. It was a cold day. 2 Celsius grades and snow. Here in Trysil, everything is possible :-D. Afterwards we went to grandma for a piece of cake and cup of coffee. We watched the celebrations in Oslo. The king's guard had their own program - it was breath-taking. Then there was a children's parade. 110 school took part. They were marching through the main gate and in front of the castle. The royal family was standing on the balcony and waving. It is a nice tradition, I think. The children's parade in Trysil began at 11:00. The video is on youtube of course. After it we went to a restaurant for a cake and coffee. Then I was at home for a while and at 16:00 in city center again to watch the parade of the students studying their last year at hte local secondary school. They prepared some skits which were quite funny.

At 17:00 there was a program in the local cultural center. The orchestra, male choir and the classes 7A and B were playing and singing. The parents of the students in the 7th class organize always the 17.5. celebrations. In the evening I watched House and went to sleep. On Sunday I woke up, ate the breakfast, hoovered my room, took the bike and 7-iron and went to the driving range. And I was suddenly hitting the balls quite well. That means that it is going to be terrible next time :-P. Otherwise I learned some papers from our slovakian history lessons. I think I will jog for a while in the evening. I am back next week.

Konfirmacia a hic --- Confirmation and warmth

Leto je napokon tu:-D Tento tyzden nebolo mracika na oblohe a teploty okolo 20 stupnov. Nadhera. Ja uz ani neviem ze by sa nieco zaujimaveho udialo. V utorok nam odpadla matika, tak som si siel zabehat. V stredu stvorhodinovka francuzstiny, ale nakolko bol ucitel prec, mohli sme zostat doma. Navalil nam ale dost uloh - mali sme riesit ulohy ake mozu byt na skuskach, takze som mal co robit. Okolo 11:00 mi dosla SMSka od Lenky zo Sumavy, ze pride do Trysilu. Tak sme sa stretli pri skole, kde odovzdala darceky ucitelom telesnej, potom sme chvilu posedeli pri kave a rozlucili sme sa na stanici. Vecer sme mali golfovy trening. Posledny krat v hale. Driving uz otvorili :-D:-D:-D Takze sa bude intenzivne trenovat kym odidem... Venovali sme sa hlavne puttingu. V stvrtok na sociologii chybal ucitel, takze sme pracovali "na vlastnu ruku" - ako to tu v Norsku hovoria. Po skole jogging.V piatok opat samostatna praca na francuzstine, na telesnej test na kliky, potom dejepis, anglictina a domov. Atle mal v sobotu konfirmaciu - cize prijatie za obcana. Konfirmacia moze byt obcianska a cirkevna. Ma to uz dost dlhu tradiciu. Cirkevna konfirmacia zacala za vlady Kristiana neviemkolkeho v 18. storoci, obcianska konfirmacia zacala len v roku 1956. Samotnemu ceremonialu predchadza niekolkotyzdnovy kurz ktory sa podoba nasej etickej vychove - proste ich ucia ako byt dobrymi ludmi a spravnymi obcanmi. Konfirmanti dostavaju taktiez peniaze od celej rodiny a su to dost velke sumy - Atle dostal asi 17000 NOK dokopy. To by som uz asi bol na ceste niekde do Indie :-D. Takze v piatok sa vsetko pripravovalo na party po ceremonii u nas doma. Rozkladali sme stoly, stolicky, hrabali listie, Eva si zobrala volno z prace aby mohla spolu so starou mamou pripravovat jedlo (a toho tu teraz mame dost do konca mesiaca :-D)atd. V sobotu rano sme teda dokoncili posledne pripravy, vztycili sme norsku vlajku na dome (to oni robia vzdy ked sa nieco oslavuje) a o 13:00 bol slavnostny ceremonial v kulturnom dome. Prejavy, kulturne vlozky a odovzdavanie diplomov. Nasledne spolocna fotka a o 15:00 spolocny obed u nas. Mali sme pozvanych asi 26 hosti - myslim ze vsetko bola rodina. To je tak ked John ma dvoch a Eva troch surodencov a ti maju svoje rodiny :-P. Takze jedla bolo vela aj kolacov. John zlozil pre Atleho piesen o tom co vsetko sa zatial stihlo udiat v jeho zivote:-D. Mnoho muzov aj zien sa zvykne obliekat do krojov a tak som si spravil jeden obrazok s Evou a jej sestrou Marit:

Rozlucili sme sa so vsetkymi okolo 21:00. Spratali sme kopu spinaveho riadu a sli spat. V nedelu bola zase cirkevna konfirmacia, takze John s Evou boli pozvani k jednej znamej. Ja som si siel zabehat s Elisou a Ane a vecer som si pozrel hokej Lotyssko-Norsko. Takze taky bol moj tyzden.


The summer is here at last:-D This week there was not a single cloud on the sky and temperatures were around 20 degrees of Celsius. Beauty. I do not remember if something interesting has happened. On Tuesday we did not have Math so I went jogging. On Wednesday 4 lessons of French but our teacher was absent, so we could work on our own at home. He gave us a lot of excercises wchich could come up in the exams, so I had lot to do. At around 11:00 I got a message from Lenka from the Czech republic that she is coming to Trysil. We met in front of the school at 12:00, she gave some presents to the PE teachers, then we had a cup of coffe and she took the bus back to Elverum. In the evening I had a golf practice. Indoors for ther last time. The driving range is opened :-D:-D:-D. It is going to be a lot of practice now. On Wednesday we concentrated on putting. On Thursday, our teacher of Sociology was away so I worked with the tasks on my own and. Jogging after the school. On Friday I finished the French homework, on PE we had a push-ups test, then History,English and home again. Atle had his confirmation on Saturday - that means a ceremony where you are accepted as a citizen. The confirmation can be humanistic or ecclesiastical. The tradition is quite long here in Norway. The ecclesiastical confirmation started already in the 18. century during the reign of king Kristian in Denmark - Norway, the humanistic confirmation began first in 1956. Before the ceremony, the participants have to take part in a couple of weeks long course where they learn how to be good citizens and people. The confirmants get also a big sums of money from the whole family. Atle got around 17 000 NOK. I would have been right on my way to India :-D.So on Friday we were preparing everything for the party on Saturday. We set up the chairs and tables and tablecloths, raked the leaves, Eva took free from her job to prepare food and cakes together with grandma (and I suppose we are going to eat it until the end of month). Saturday morning we were finished with all preparations,rose up the Norwegian flag (they do it every time they are celebrating something) and at 13:00 there was this ceremony in the cinema. Speeches, songs, piano play and the awarding with diplomas. The common photo afterwards and then lunch by us at 15:00. We invited 26 people - all of them are a part of the family - Eva has 3 siblings, John 2 and everyone has their own family :-D... So there was a lot of food and cakes. John made a song for Atle about everything what has happened in his life so far :-). Many people tend to dress themselves in national costumes. So I took a picture with Eva and her sister Marit:

We said goodbye to everyone at 21:00, set the dishes in the dishwasher and went to sleep. On Sunday, Eva and John were invited to an ecclesiastical confirmation. I went jogging with Elise and Ane and then watched the ice-hockey match between Norway and Latvia. So that was my last week.

Vitajte na Lofotach --- Welcome on the Lofoten islands

Tak tento tyzden som si to namieril pekne daleko za polarny kruh. Uplne presne 68 stupnov 20,5 minuty severnej zemepisnej sirky (alebo dlzky? To bolo davno co som sa toto ucil... :-P). Suostrovie Lofot, ktore je velmi velmi stare v porovnani s ostatnymi horami vo svete.

Ale tyzden zacal celodennou pisomkou z nemciny. Nebolo to lahke, ale ani tazke. Takze som skoncil v dobrom predstihu a aj tak som dostal 6ku. Aj ked som asi trikrat ponemcil norske slovo, takze Nemec by mu asi nerozumel. To je tak ked sa clovek uci viac jazykov naraz. V utorok nic specialneho, takze vecer som sa pobalil a na druhy den som nabral smer Bodø a z tadial Svolvær - hlavne mesto Lofot. Tymto som sa ulial z celodennej pisomky z anglictiny, ale tu som absolvoval dnes (5.5.). Nenavidim cestovanie. Teda lepsie povedane samotnu cestu, cize transport. A ta bola rovnako unavna ako tam, tak aj naspat. V stredu som musel stihnut autobus 5:30 na letisko, po skoro troch hodinach cesty autobusom som tam dorazil, siel na check-in a potom 2 hodiny cakat na lietadlo do Bodø. Po prilete som mal 5 hodin volno. Tak som si zobral bus do centra a siel hladat nejake miesto, kde by sa dal kupit listok na lod do Svolværu. Prvy krat tento rok s kratkymi rukavmi vonku. A za polarnym kruhom. Kto by to bol povedal :-D. Tak som presiel cez cele mesto do pristavu kde kotvi Hurtigruta (velka turisticka lod, ktora chodi popri norskom pobrezi a zastavuje v roznych mestach).

Tam mi povedali ze listky sa predavaju tam, z kadial som prisiel. Tak som siel naspat - musel som nejako zabit ten volny cas - a nasiel som infokancelariu, kde som si kupil listok na rychlolod do Svolværu o 17:15. Potom som siel troska preskumat mesto. Zistil som, ze je celkom pekne a najlepsie na nom je, ze vsetko je skoncentrovane dokopy, takze sa da ist na letisko z centra aj pesi.

Na obed som si kupil "vareny zemiak" - velmi oblubeny v Norsku - zemiak upeceny v alobale naplneny maslom s prichutou a smotanou a kazdy si moze vybrat, co k tomu chce. Ja som si priobjednal slaninu, syr a salat. Ten zemiak bol asi dvakrat vacsi ako som bol zvyknuty z Trysilu a tak som ho ledva zjedol. Potom som este chvilu bludil mestom a nakoniec som nastupil na lod. Je to taka pomerne mala lodka s miestom mozno pre 150 ludi. Vsetky sedacky su v jednej miestnosti. Lod zastavovala v roznych mesteckach a mohol som pozorovat skutocne krasnu prirodu severneho Norska. Po asi 3 hodinach sme konecne dorazili do Svolværu. Tam ma vyzdvihla, nemecka vymenna studentka Ellen, ktora byva tento rok v Svolvære. Je zaujimave, ze som sa ani necitil velmi unaveny po takom dlhom dni, a tak sme isli na oslavu ku jednej jej spoluziacke. Tam som ochutnal maso z velryby. Mnam :-D. Ono to vyzeralo a chutilo ako steak. Teraz uz chapem preco ich ludia lovia. Domov sme dosli asi o 1 rano. Zachvilu bude na Lofotach obdobie so svetlom 24 hod. denne a spravil som jedno videjko ako to tam vyzera o polnoci. Clovek krasne vidi na cestu pri takom svetle. Mohol som byvat u nich v "mastali", ako volaju jeden malicky domcek s kuchynou, kupelnou a spalnou hned vedla ich domu :-P Tak som sa vyspal (resp. nevyspal - prvy krat som sa prebudil o 3 rano pretoze bolo svetlo ako o 8:00 a nasledne som sa prebudil o 5:00 pretoze slnko plestilo ako na poludnie :-D) a o 10:00 sme sa stretli a sli do mesta na prvomajovy sprievod :-P Hehe, prvy a posledny krat na prvomajovom sprievode. Zastupcovia socialistickych a komunistickych stran kritizovali vsetko co sa dalo a potom siel sprievod cez mesto, orchester hral Internationalu a Natur og ungdom (Priroda a mladez - organizacia na ochranu zivotneho prostredia, kde je Ellen clenom, protestovala proti tazbe ropy na severe). Bolo zaujimave zucastnit sa, ale nabuduce nie dakujem...

Na poludnie sme zobrali bicykle a sli sme do susedneho mesta Kabelvåg, kde hral Ellenin norsky brat spolu s kamaratom pre publikum, ktore si uzivalo slnecne luce pred "krcmou". Potom sme nabrali smer Henningsvær. Cestou sme sa mohli kochat nadhernou prirodou. Henningsvær je tiez rybarske mesto a to sa da vidiet podla tohto:
Nori lovia tresky a potom ich nechaju susit na takychto vesiakoch. Dokonca tam maju aj strasiakov na odplasenie cajok :-). V Henningsvære sme sa sli pozriet na majak a potom sme sli naspat. Boli sme pozvani (teda ona bola pozvana:-D) na narodeninovu oslavu jednej jej kamaratky. Upiekla vybornu pizzu. Tak sme zacali s pozeranim filmu, presli na hranie quizu na Playstation, potom na spievanie na Playstation (:-D moja oblubena cinnost:-D)

a skoncili pri hrani nejakych hier. Asi o polnoci sme sa podakovali a bicyklovali asi 45 minut domov. Ten den sme nabicyklovali vyse 50 km. Ale je pravda, ze preskumat Lofoty na bicykli sa oplati. Na druhy den som musel stavat opat pomerne skoro, nakolko som si chcel zahrat golf a musel stihnut autobus o 9:00. Tak sme asi po 50 minutach dosli na golfove ihrisko. Tam bol len sami americky personal - ma to trosku prekvapilo. Tak som si pozical palice a siel sa trocha rozohriat na driving. A potom som sa pustil na 9 jamiek. Take ihrisko ako toto clovek nehra len tak kazdy den.

Sice hrisko bolo otvorene len jeden den a kvalita nebola nic moc a vacsina odpalisk boli umele podlozky, ta sceneria to vynahradovala. Hrisko je doslova pri mori a na niektorych jamkach clovek musi odpalit cez plaz alebo cez zatoku a navyse byt rovny. Zeby som mal nejake dobre vysledky sa neda povedat, ale som na spravnej ceste k vylepseniu mojej hry :-D Po tom, co som dohral, sme sli vystupit na horu Hoven, ktora je hned pri hrisku, asi 365 m vysoka. Za hodinu sme boli na vrchole a tam sa nam naskytol krasny vyhlad. Nie sme nahodou v Karibiku?

Minibus nas nevyzdvihol, a tak sme im museli zavolat. Takze nakoniec prisli, aj ked o nieco neskor. Nastastie bol autobus oneskoreny, takze sme ho stihli a okolo 16:00 sme boli v Svolvære. Navecerali sme sa spolu s jej rodinou, ktora nas potom zobrala na vylet lodou, ktoru vlastni domaceho otec. Krasne pocasie. Tak sme navstivili nejakeho ich znameho na susednom ostrove a sli naspat. Vecer sme este popozerali fotky a siel som spat. Na druhy den rano mi sla lod naspat o 6:30, co opat znamenalo skore vstavanie. O 10:00 som bol v Bodø a letadlo letelo az o 19:05. V tom zabijani casu nie som az tak dobry, takze som siel do leteckeho muzea. Ma tvar vrtule a je zname v celom Norsku. Mapuje celu historiu letectva, svetoveho aj norskeho, od jeho zaciatkov az po dnesok. Je tam kopa starych lietadiel a cele muzeum je velmi zaujimave.

Aby som zabil cas, cital som popis vsetkeho okolo coho som presiel. Po 4,5 hodinach som presiel cele muzeum a siel na letisko. Tam som odovzdal batozinu a zacal si citat knihu. Potom mi uz zacala kvickat hlava tak som si musel zdriemnut na letisku. Zrovna pohodlne to nebolo. Po navrate do Osla som mal dalsie 2 hodiny k dispozicii. Tak som si precital casopis z lietadla, nasadol na autobus a okolo 1:40 prisiel naspat do Trysilu. Vstal som skoro o 11:00, najedol som sa a siel pomoct s hrabanim travy. Uplne super vidiet travu bez snehu. Takze uz sme nainstalovali trampolinu aj volejbalovu siet. Vecer som siel so spoluziakmi do kina na muzikal Sweeney Todd. Super hudba, len to bolo dost krvave. A po 5 dnoch na dovolenke opat do skoly...



This week I travelled really far behind the polar circle. Quite exactly 68 grades 20,5 minutes N. Lofoten islands are very old in the comparison to other mountain ranges in the world.

The week began with the whole-day-exam from German. It was neither easy nor difficult. So I was finished maybe 2 hours before and got 6. Although I used some Norwegian words in my German text:-P. Well,well, that is how it goes when one learns many languages... Nothing special on Tuesday so I packed my things and started in direction Bodø and afterwards Svolvær - the capital of Lofoten. I got rid of the whole-day-exam from English but I have took it today (5.5.) I hate travelling. Or just transporting myself, to say it precisely. And it was exhausting both on the way there and back. On Wednesday I had to catch the bus at 5:30 to the airport, after almost 3 hours in the bus I arrived at the airport, checked-in and waited 2 hours for the plane to Bodø. After the arrival I had 5 hours free, so I took the bus to city centre and went to find some place where I could buy tickets for the vessel to Svolvær. So I walked through the whole city to the harbour where Hurtigruta (a big ship transporting the tourists along the Norwegian coast and stopping in som cities ) was anchored.

I was told there that I have to go back and buy it in the information office. So I went back - I had to kill the free time somehow :-D - and I found the office and bought the ticket. The vessel departed first at 17:15 so I had spared time. I went to explore the city. I found out that it is very nice and everything is within walking distance - even the airport.

I bought "baked potatoe" for the lunch. It is very popular here in Norway - a potatoe filled with flavoured butter and sour cream. I ordered also cheese, bacon and salad. Very tasty but a bit bigger than in Trysil so I had problems to eat it:-D. After that I was just wandering through the city for a while and then I got on the boat. It is such a small boat with place for 150 people. All the seats are in one room. The vessel stopped in some small towns on the coast and I could observe a beautiful North-Norwegian nature. We arrived at Svolvær after three hours. Ellen, a German exchange student living in Svolvær this year, picked me up. It was interesting, that I did not feel tired so we went to her classmate's party. I tried the meat from the whale for the firts time. Yummi :-D. It looked and tasted like a beef steak. Now I can understand why the people are killing them.We came home at 1:00 am. In a few days, the sun will be shining there for 24 hours and I made one video how does it look like now at midnight. You can see the road without any problems. I stayed sleeping in their "barn", as they call a small house with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom by their own house. I did not sleep well, since at 3 am the sun was shining like at 8 am and then I woke up for the second time at 5 am because it was so light as at noon:-D. We met at 10 am and went to 1st May parade :-P. Hehe, for the first and the last time... Socialists and communists criticised everything and then the parade went through the town, orchestra was playing L'internationale song and Natur og ungdom (Nature and youth - environmental organization where Ellen is a member) protested against the oil industry in north Norway. It was interesting to participate but no, thanks next time...

At 12 am, we took the bycicles and drove to the neighbour town of Kabelvåg, where Ellen's Norwegian brother played guitar and sang for the audience which enjoyed the sun rays in front of the pub. After that we took direction Henningsvær. On the way there we could enjoy a beautiful landscape:

The Norwegians catch the cod and then hang them and let them dry out. They even have man figurines there to scare the sea gulls :-D We take a look at the local lighthouse and then we went back. We were invited (actually only she was invited :-D) to a birthday party of her friend. She made a delicious pizza. We began with watching the film, after that we played a quiz show on the Playstation, then sang Singstar on the Playstation (my favourite activity :-D)

and finished with playing some games.Around midnight, we said thank you and drove home for next 45 minutes. That day we cycled cca. 50 km but it is true that the best way to explore Lofoten is from bicycle saddle. I had to stand up quite early also the next day in order to catch the bus to golf course at 9am. We came to the golf course after 50 minutes. Only Americans there - I was surprised. So I borrowed the clubs and went to driving range to warm up. After that I played 9 holes. You do not play a course like this every day.

The course had been opened for only one day, so the quality was bad, with artificial tee boxes, but the scenery was gorgeous. Course is literally by the sea and I had to drive over the beaches and the sea. I can not say I played well but I am on the right way... After playing 9 holes we climbed up the mountain behind the golf course called Hoven (365 m). We reached the top in one hour and were rewarded by a great view. Are not we in Carribean?

The taxi which goes to the bus stop did not pick us up so we had to call them. So they came later but fortunately the bus was also late. We arrived at Svolvær at 4 pm. We ate the dinner with her family and then they took us for a boat trip. The grandfather owns one boat so we hired it and went to visit some friends on one of the islands. In the evening we watched the pictures and went to sleep. Next morning I had to catch the vessel to Bodø at 6:30 so I did not sleep very well again. I came to Bodø at 10 am and the plane went 9 hours later. I am not so good time-killer so I went to The aviation museum. It looks like a propeller and is known in the whole Norway. I could read there about the avaiation's history in Norway and in the world. There are loads of old aeroplanes there and the whole museum is very interesting.

I read every single information to be there as long as possible. After 4,5 hours I was finished and went to the airport. I checked-in, began reading a book but was so tired that I had to take a nap. It was not very comfortable but it fullfilled the purpose. After the arrival to Oslo I had 2 hours free so I was reading the SCANORAMA magazine from the plane and waited for the bus. I came home at 1:40. I woke up before 11:00, ate breakfast and helped with the raking of leaves. We set up the trampoline. In the evening, I went to the cinema with my classmates to see Sweeney Todd. Great music, but a bit disgusting. And after 5 days free back to school...

Vylet do Hamaru --- A trip to Hamar

Tak som sa s Evou povypraval, vsetko sa vysvetlilo atd. Viac to uz tu nebudem rozoberat. Tyzden bol dost hekticky, nakolko sme zacali pisomkove obdobie. Na sociologii sme prebrali uz celu knihu, takze teraz to bude uz len priprava na mozne skusky. Na nemcine sa pripravujeme na celodennu pisomku, kotra bude v pondelok. Vsetci uplne vystresovani :-D. V utorok za mnou prisiel norstinar, ze nasledujuci den budem musiet pisat pisomku v nynorsk a nie v bokmåle, nakolko mam na vysvedceni znamku aj z "vedlajsieho jazyka (nynorsk)". Na hodinach som bol, ulohy som si spravil (za vyraznej pomoci Johna - on diktoval, ja som pisal:-P) ale ze by som sa na gramatiku nejak zvlast pozrel, to sa neda povedat.Po skole som zacal s pripravou na celodennu pisomku v piatok. Tak som si prebral vsetko, co sme sa naucili tento rok. V stredu som bol teda nuteny ist do skoly o 30 minut skor a pokusit sa naucit z nynorsk co najviac pred tym, nez zacneme pisat. Esteze sme mali povolene pouzivat slovnik. Ale tak nieco z gramatiky som sa naucil, slovka, ktore som nevedel som si vyhladal a nejako som dal dokopy celu A4. Som bol na seba hrdy :-D. Po skole som si siel zabehat a vecer na golfovy trening. Trenovali sme nizko letiace udery a trener bol so mnou spokojny. Puttovanie sme trenovali s palicou pod pazuchami, aby sme drzali drahu - to uz az tak dobre neslo. Budem musiet potrenovat. Stvrtok po skole som si siel opat zabehat a potom som sa uz iba dopripravoval na matiku. V piatok teda priblizne 3,5 hodinova pisomka z matiky. Bolo tam mozno 20 % uciva z tohto roka, inac vacsinou z minuleho. Takze pekne. Esteze som sa to kedysi ucil, takze som musel trocha zalovit v pamati. Ale vsetko som aj tak nedokazal vyriesit. Ale znamka mi vychadza 6ka, takze jednu 5ku mozem dostat. Vecer som s Evou siel na zasadnutie golfklubu, kde predstavili plany na sezonu. V sobotu ma Eva zaviezla do Hamaru - asi 90 km juzne. Tu som bol nahlaseny na tzv. Bergenstest - test norstiny vyssej urovne. Plny pocet bodov zodpoveda beznym jazykovym znalostiam rodeneho Nora. Takze tam bola taka zmeska pristahovalcov - Uruguaj,Somalsko, Francuzsko a este neviem z kadial. Prva cast testu bolo porozumenie textu, gramatika a posluch. Potom 20 minutova pauza a po nej napisanie referatu pocuteho intervju a napisanie eseje. Jedna tema na esej bolo rozobranie pricin nerovnopravnosti zien a muzov. Nakolko sme to brali nedavno na sociologii, mohol som im tam popisat kopu teorii a este aj dolozit statistikou. Nenormalne stastie :-D. Po teste sme sli pozriet ruiny stareho kostola, ktore su teraz zasklenene.

Cestou domov sme sa este zastavili pri budove colneho uradu, kde bol tento meteorit, ktory tu niekde padol nablizku. Pekny macek.

I talked to Eva and everything is explained now etc. I am not gonna write more about it here. The week was quite busy for me. The period with exams has begun. We finished the whole book on Sociology so now we are going to prepare for the possible exams. On German we are preparing for the whole-day-exam next Monday. Everybody is stressed :-P. On Tuesday, my Norwegian teacher came to me and said that I would have to write the essay in nynorsk the next day, because I have "second language (nynorsk" on the school repport as well. I took part in the lessons, made my homeworks (with a huge help from John - he was saying to me what should I write and I wrote :-D) but otherwise I did not learn the grammar etc. After the school I began with the preparation for the whole-day-exam in math on Friday. I had to go over everything I have learned this year. On Wednesday I was forced to go to school 30 minutes earlier to learn a bit of nynorsk before the essay writing started. Fortunately we could use the dictionary. But I think I managed to learn a good part of grammar and I looked up the words I did not know, so eventually I managed to write a whole A4-page. I was proud of myself :-D. After the school I went jogging and then to the golf practice. We were practicing punch shots and my coach was quite satisfied with my performance. Then we went over to putting and practiced with a club under the armpits to hold the line - this did not go so well :-) I will have to practice more. On Thursday, I went jogging again and after that finished my preparations for the exam. So on Friday the math exam - there were maybe only 20% of everything I learned this year. The majority was from the last year. Nice. Fortunately I had learned these things before but I did not manage to write down all the answers. But I have good grades so I can get one worse. In the evening, Eva and me went to golf club meeting where they presented the plans for this year and so on. On Saturday, Eva drove me to Hamar - 90 km south. I had to take Bergenstest - a test of Norwegian language - higher level. 100% corresponds with the knowledge of a native speaker. First part was understanding of the text, grammar and listening test. Then 20 min. break. After that reproduction of the heard interview and writing an essay. One of the topics was the equality of genders in Norway. I learned this recently on sociology so I was quite lucky :-D. I could write down all the theories and statistics. After the exam, we visited the ruins of an old church. They are covered behind the glass to protect them from rain and wind.

On the way home we stopped to take a picture of a meteor which fell here to the forest. It is quite big.

Next week a couple of exams but already on Wednesday I am flying to Lofotes. Because many of you think that there is a snow everywhere, here is a pictue taken not so long time ago:
