Skimuseet

Tak toto je prvy vlek v Trysile. Miesto asi pre pat osob, tahany do kopca traktorom :-D Jeden vlek, jedna zjazdovka - tak to tu bolo v 1966. Dnes to tu vyzera uz trosku inak. Cez vikend otvorili v Trysil-Knut hoteli muzeum lyziarskej historie v Trysile. Trysil Knut bol pre Trysil nieco ako pre nas Janosik - akurat ze neraboval. Zil na konci 18. stor. a vsade sa prepravoval na lyziach. Nakoniec je z neho legenda. V muzeu su rozne stare lyze, stare bezky, prvy snowboard. Na roznych displejoch sa daju pozriet videa - napriklad bezkarsky maraton v Østby zo 60. rokov ci vitazstva Trysilcanov na olympiadach alebo majstrovstvach sveta. Kazdy vyznamny Trysilcan, hlavne bezkari a skokani, je tam spomenuty - Hallgeir Brenden, Bjørn Dæhlie, Anita Moen - to vsetko su mena zname po celom Norsku a niektore aj mimo neho. Clovek si moze aj vyskusat moderovanie pretekov alebo zaskakat na simulatore skokov na lyziach. Cele muzeum je vyborne - ani velke ani male. Urcite to bude dobry tahak pre turistov.


So this is the first lift in Trysil. Room for maybe 5 people. It was dragged up the hill by a tractor :-P. One lift, one slope - it was in 1966. Today it is substantially different. This weekend, the museum of the history of skiing in Trysil was opened in Trysil - Knut hotel. Trysil Knut is a legend here. He lived probably in the end of 18. century and went everywhere on ski. In the museum, you can see many old ski, cross-country ski, the first snowboard. On the array of displays you can watch different videos - f.eks. ski marathon in Østby in the 60's or the triumphs of athletes from Trysil on olympic games or world championships. Every known winter sports-athlete from Trysil, most of all cross-country runners and ski jumpers, has it's place there - Hallgeir Brenden, Bjørn Dæhlie, Anita Moen - names known in the whole Norway and some of them also behind the borders. You can also try to be a commentator of a ski run or try out the simulator of ski jumping. The whole museum is excellent - neither big, neither small - a perfect way how to lure the tourists to Trysil.

Na zapade nic noveho --- All quiet on the western front

Tak tu takto sedim vo vnutri zavrety a pisem blog. Kam inam by som isiel, ked vonku snezi a prsi. Ako ste si mohli z titulu dnesneho prispevku vydedukovat, vela zaujimaveho sa tento tyzden neudialo. V pondelok som mal posledny den prazdnin. Prsalo ci snezilo - to si uz nepamatam. Kazdopadne bolo zle pocasie a ja som bol nuteny byt doma. V utorok opat do skoly. Islo to celkom v pohode. Na niektorych jedincov dopadla unava no mne sa prechod podaril celkom dobre. Na matike chybala ucitelka, tak nam dala za ulohu zopakovat si celu prvu kapitolu v ramci pripravy na mozne skusky a vypocitat kopu prikladov. Tento rok totiz kazdy ziak druheho rocnika pojde na skusku z jedneho z predmetov, ktore vylosuje pocitac. Skuska moze byt ustna alebo pisomna. Potom ma clovek tusim dva dni na pripravu odvtedy co sa dozvie z akeho predmetu bude skladat skusky. Takze som v priebehu tyzdna riesil priklady z matiky. V utorok ma po skole dost bolela hlava, takze som sa vykaslal na riesenie matematiky, odlozil to naneskor a siel si lahnut. V stredu som po skole siel na bezky. Pekne pocasie, len troska fukalo. Vecer bol golfovy trening. Uz som vedel trafit lopticku :-D Konecne som uz asi ten novy svih pochopil. Uvidime ako bude nabuduce... Vo stvrtok sme na dejepise hovorili o ludskych pravach a o situacii vo svete. Som sa dozvedel ze USA podporovali Irak vo vojne proti Iranu a Rumsfeld si potriasal ruky s Husajnom ako najvacsi priatelia. O tomto som nevedel... Po skole som sa stretol s Ceskou Lenkou, ktora ma zoznamila s dvoma Spanielmi a jednym Finom, s ktorymi studuje v Elverume tento pol rok. Akurat tento tyzden mali v Trysile kurz telemarku (lyzovanie s odopnutou patou). Tento vikend som mal ist s nou a este dalsimi Cechmi na vikend do Hemsedalu, kde maju dobre lyziarske stredisko. Nakoniec vsak z toho zislo, lebo nebolo ubytovanie. Potom sme sa dohodli ze este s jednym Cechom pridu tento vikend do Trysilu a ze vyskusame skialp a bezky. No kvoli pocasiu zislo aj z toho:-P Skoda, skialp by som si rad vyskusal. Mozno nabuduce. Po obednej prestavke im pokracoval kurz a ja som si siel odbezkovat zopar kilometrov. Bolo jedno z najkrajsich pocasi za celu sezonu. Slniecko hrialo az mi bolo teplo a uplne bezvetrie. V piatok sme na telesnej hrali hadzanu ale okrem toho to bol obycajny den. A cez vikend, ako vravim, sa neda poriadne nic robit. Tak pocuvam nemecke radio, citam norsku krimi knihu (od svedskeho autora) a pozeram tretiu seriu Housa na pocitaci, aby som si trocha vycibril anglicke pocuvacie schopnosti. A buduci tyzden nema byt tiez ziadne super pocasie, takze to opat vidim na studium. Ja chcem leto :-(...


I am sitting inside, writing the blog article. Where else could I go when it is raining and snowing outside. As you have maybe deduced from the name of today's article, nothing intersting happened this week. On Monday, it was the last day of holidays. It was raining or snowing - I do not remember, bad weather anyhow, and I was forced to stay at home. On Tuesday back to school again. It was okay. Some students were tired but I managed the transition quite well. Our math teacher was away so she let us know that we should repeat the 1. chapture of the book, as a part of preparation for the exams, and calculate loads of exercises. Every pupil from our school level is going to take one exam from a subject, which is going to be picked up by a computer. The exam can be written or oral. After finding out what exam you are going to take, you will get two days for the preparation, I think. So I have been busy with math exercises the whole week. After the school I got a headache so I had to stop with math and went to sleep earlier. On Wednesday I went cross-country skiing. Nice weather but a bit windy. Golf practice in the evening. It was better than the last time. I managed to hit the balls properly also with 3-iron. I think I have eventually get used to the new swing. I'll see next time :-P. On Thursday, we were talking on the History about people rights. I did not know that America was supporting Iraq in the war against Iran. It was quite surprising for me. After the school I met the Czech friend Lenka, who introduced me to one Finn and two Spaniards, who are studying this term with her in Elverum. They had telemark course (skiing with free heels) in Trysil this week. She, some other Czechs and me shoud have gone to Hemsedal, one good ski centre in Norway, this weekend. But there were problems with accomodation. Then she should come with one Czech to us for a weekend. We wanted to go cross-country skiing and try out skialp. But the weather is terrible as I have already said, so we dropped it as well. Pity. I wanted to try skialp. Maybe next time... After the lunch break they went back to their course and I went cross-country skiing. It was maybe the best weather during the whole season. Sun was shining, no wind. On Friday we played handball during PE but otherwise it was an ordinary day. And during the weekend, as I'm saying, I can't do nothing exciting. So I am listening to a German radio station, reading one Norwegian book and watching the 3. season of House to improve my comrehension of English. And next week we should have bad weather as well. I want summer :-(...

Påsken [póskn] - Velka Noc - The Easter

Appelsin og Kvikklunsj [aplzín o kviklünš] - pomaranc a kvikklunsj. Bez tychto dvoch veci Nor na turu pocas Velkej Noci ani nejde. V Norsku je Velka noc spojena hlavne s lyzovackou a bezkovanim. A pomaranc a tieto cokoladove keksy su od velkonocnych sviatkov neodlucitelne rovnako ako zajace :-P. Tento tyzden ubehol hrozne rychlo a bolo toho vela, co sa udialo. Pondelok zacali prazdniny krasnym slnecnim pocasim. Najprv sme s Johnom a Atlem stahovali sedacku. Jedna isla k Evinej sestre a jednu z dolneho poschodia sme premiestnili hore. Takze mame teraz o sedacku menej a uvazuju o kupe novej. Okolo obeda ma John odviezol ku golfovemu ihrisku, kde zacina bezkarska trat. Za krasneho slnecneho pocasia som si odbezkoval 25 km a zviezol som sa s Evou domov, ked isla z prace. V utorok som siel s Linusom na lyze. Isiel som s Evou do prace, takze som musel hodinku cakat, kym sa spustia vleky. Ale oplatilo sa privstat. Slniecko, cerstvo upravene zjazdovky. Najprv sme isli lyzovat v Høgegge, kde su najlepsie zjazdovky. Nebolo vela ludi, takze sme si to mohli pustit celkom rychlo dole kopcom - uzasna lyzovacka. Snowboard je oproti lyziam velmi nudny - obrovsky rozdiel. Potom sme este lyzovali na roznych castiach hory a okolo 3tej som skoncil, aby som stihol odvoz domov. V stredu ma John vyviezol do Fageråsenu, kde som sa mal stretnut s jednym clovekom, co ma na starosti upratovanie chat. Dalo by sa este privyrobit nejake peniaze, kym som tu. Povedal mi, ze sa mam zastavit v sobotu a potom mi povie kedy by som mohol upratovat. Nakoniec vsak z toho nic nebolo, lebo Eva ma upozornila na to, ze si musim zistit info ohladne odvadzania dani a potom som si este uvedomil, ze by som potreboval aj pracovne povolenie od policie. A zaplatit 1000 NOK za pracovne povolenie a pracovat mozno iba dalsie 3-4 tyzdne, to nie je zrovna financne vyhodne. Po stretnuti som siel na bezky.


Zo zaciatku bolo dost zle pocasie, ale potom sa vycasilo ... a opat zamracilo. Ku koncu zacalo tak snezit a fukat, ze som bol cely zasnezeny. Z Fageråsenu som najprv siel okolo Skurufjelletu, taky maly kopcek vedla Trysilfjelletu. Ked je pekne pocasie, tak si ludia na bezky beru aj lopatu, ktorou si vyhlbia sedacky do snehu, a kotlik + jedlo, takze si mozu navarit nieco teple. A takto tam sedia, jedia a opaluju sa. Takze bezkovanie nie je len o tom aby clovek presiel co najviac kilometrov, ale tura na bezkach sa moze ponat aj takymto sposobom. Opat som sa s Evou zviezol domov. Vecer sme vyzdvihli Linusa a Eva nas potom zaviezla asi 30 km severne do Vidsynu, kde bola velkonocna party. Tam sme sa stretli s dalsimi spoluziakmi a spoluziackami a zabavali sa asi do 1 rano. A zistil som ze predsa len nemam rad tancovanie a dobrovolne na parket nejdem :-D. Asi to zavisi od momentalnej nalady... Naspat sme asi 12 isli taxikom. Je to fajn, ze tu maju specialne ponuky pre mladez, ked ste aspon traja, tak kazdy zaplati iba 50 korun a odvezu vas aj 30 km ako napriklad v tomto pripade. Na druhy den som siel na snowboard.


Takto to vyzera cez Velku Noc. Kopa ludi. Nastastie sa to rozplizne po celom areali, takze na vlek sa necaka dlho, niekedy vobec, niekedy max. 3-4 min.. Tak som si zasnowboardoval zo 5 hodin a siel domov. Vecer mala kamaratka Ane naroneninovu oslavu.

Boli sme asi 10. Elise napiekla brownies, ktore ale celkom nestuhli, takze sme to pouzili ako omacku ku boller (neviem ako sa to povie po slovensky, su to tie gulky na na tacke na fotke). Kusok pred 11 som siel domov. John s Evou mali navstevu a zabavali sa na starych videach, kde boli nahrate stare divadelne predstavenia o Trysilcanoch. Piatok bolo dost zle pocasie, takze som nesiel lyzovat (vynimocne:-P). S Johnom a Atlem sme isli k Engersjøen - jazeru asi 30 minut jazdy severne. Tam byvali pred tym, nez sa prestahovali blizsie ku centru. Je to uplne Bohom zabudnute miesto. John:,, No, tu nalavo je kulturny dom, tu napravo potraviny, a to by bolo tak asi vsetko " :-D. Den predtym boli na jazere, kde do ladu zapichli take pseudoudice a lanko s hacikom bolo pod ladom. Takze na druhy den sme prisli uz iba vybrat ryby. Bol tam asi 40 cm hruby lad, takze prepadnut sa nedalo. Dve udice sa nam nepodarilo vytiahnut v celku - lanko sa pretrhlo, ale na jednej sme mali krasneho velkeho pstruha. Atle ho doma vypytval - nastastie nebolo tolko krvi ako ked som kupoval vianocneho pstruha - a uz lezi v mraznicke:-P. Vecer sme boli pozvani na veceru k Johnovej mame - mali sme polievku:-D. Vybornu. A potom kopu kolacov, takze som skoncil s plnym bruchom. Vecer boli v TV Gangy New Yorku a potom som siel spat. Na druhy den bol Påskerennet - velkonocny zavod. Je to kazdorocna tradicia - take rodinno-kamaratske stretnutie. Vzdy sa zidu cez Velku Noc tri rodiny - Strand,Rustad a Holt niekde na chate v Trysile - tento rok to bolo o Johnovej sestry Anne - sutazi sa a potom opeka. Boli sme rozdeleny do 5 timov. Isli sme na bezkach asi 1,5 km dlhu trat a tam sme mali rozne stanoviska. Na prvom sme mali 15 obrazkov znamich osobnosti a mali sme napisat, kdo to je. Na druhom sme si mali vybrat otazky z oblasti sportu, ludskeho tela alebo novin a odpovedat na ne. Na tretom stanovisku sme mali zalozit ohen a na stvrtom uhadnut umelca a skladbu podla pocutia. Skoncili sme nakoniec na druhom mieste. Po navrate sme opekali. Tu som ja s Johnovou mamou Johanne a nad nami Magnus, Johannin synovec :-P


Vecer bola stretavka Nordnesovcov:-P. U Evinej sestry sa zisli jej druha sestra s manzelom aj jej brat s manzelkou. Bola sranda cely vecer, som ani nevedel ze maju taku zabavnu rodinu. Zase po styroch poharikoch nejakeho likeru samozrejme ze boli zabavni:-P Nemohli sme sa prestat smiat kym sme neodisli. Na druhy den som siel lyzovat. Nadherne slnecne pocasie, len troska chladno. Ale super svahy. Som bol skoro cely den iba v Høgegge. Po veceri som si pozrel Chelsea - Arsenal a potom konecne dokoncil ulohu z francuzstiny.

Appelsin og Kvikklunsj [aplseen o quicklünsh] - orange and kvikklunsj. You can not find a Norwegian on a cross-country trip without these two things. In Norway the Easter equals skiing and cross-country skiing. And Easter and orange and these chocolate biscuits are as inseparable as Easter and hare :-P. This week went really fast and there were many things that happened. Holiday started on Monday with beautiful sunny weather. John,Atle and me moved one of our sofas to Eva's sister and the other one went upstairs. So now we have one sofa less and have to buy a new one. Around 12:00, John drove me to the golf course, where the cross-country track begins. I went 25 km in gorgeous weather and then I waited until Eva finished at work. On Tuesday I went skiing together with Linus. I went a bit earlier together with Eva, so I had to wait til the lifts started. But standing up early was worth of it. Freshly prepared slopes, sun. We began skiing in Høgegga - the best slopes are there. There were not many people there so we could enjoy the speed. Snowboard is quite dull in comparison to ski, I suppose:-D. Then we skied in the different parts of the mountain and around 3 pm I went home with Eva, who finished working. On Wednesday, John drove me to Fageråsen. I had to meet one guy who is responsible for cleaning the cabins. I wanted to get a job there. He told me to come on Saturday because he did not know when could I work. But in the end it was nothing from it. Eva told me that I should find out about tax rules for me and then I also found out that I would need a working permission from the police. And paying 1000 NOK for permission and then working only 3-4 weeks, I think I would end up in red numbers:-P. After the meeting I went cross-country skiing.


In the beginning the weather was very bad but it became better after a while ... but then got worse again. In the end it was snowing ant the wind was blowing, so I was covered in snow. From the Fageråsen I went round the Skurufjellet - a little mountain by the Trysilfjellet. When the weather is nice, people take with them also a shovel and make some seats from the snow. And also a cauldron + meal so they can cook something warm. And they just sit, eat and sunbathe. So cross-country skiing is not only about going many many kilometres but you can make it also in this way. Eva drove me home when she finished at work. In the evening we picked up Linus and Eva gave us a lift to Vidsyn - 30 km north from Trysil. There was an Easter party there. I met there with other classmates and we were chatting and dancing until 1 am. Then we took taxi home. It is great that they have a special offer for the youth. If there are more than 3 people, everybody pays 50 NOK regardless of distance. I went snowboarding the next day.

This is how it looks like in Trysil during the Easter. Loads of people. Fortunately there are many lifts so you do not usually have to wait for a long time - sometimes not at all, sometimes max. 3-4 minutes... So I was snowboarding for about 5 hours and then went home. In the evening, my friend Ane had a birthday party and I was invited.


We were cca. 10 people. Elisa baked brownies but she did not succeed completely so we used them as a sauce to sweet buns. I went home before 23:00. John and Eva had a visit and were watching old VHSs with funny theatre plays about some persons from Trysil. I could not get a joke because I do not know those people. On Friday the weather was really bad so I did not went skiing (exceptionally:-P). I went with John and Atle to Engersjøen - a lake 30 minutes away. They used to live there before they moved closer to the city centre. It is a God-abandoned place. John:"Well, to the left, there is a cultural house and here is the grocery store. And that is actually everything." :-D. The day before they were here to stick some special fishing poles in the ice with hook under the ice and today we went to pick up the fish. The thread broke twice but we managed to pull out one pole and there was a nice big trout hanging from the hook. Atle gutted it and now it is resting in the freezer :-D. In the evening we were invited to John's mom Johanne for a dinner. We had a delicious soup and many cakes so my belly was really full when we came home. In the evening we watched The gangs of New York and then I went to sleep. On Saturday we had Påskerennet - Easter race. It is an annual tradition - kind of family-friend meeting. Each year during the Easter holidays the families of Strand, Holt and Rustad meet at a cottage in Trysil - this time by John's sister Anne - and we compete and grill. We were divided into 5 teams. We were cross-country skiing. The track was maybe 1,5 km long with 4 stops. At the 1. post we had to write down the names of people in the pictures. On the 2. post we could choose between questions from sport, human body or news and then answer the questions. On the 3. we had to set up a fire and on the fourth find out the artist and the name of song which was played to us. We were the runner-ups. We grilled when we came back. Here I am with Johns mom Johanne and her cousin Magnus :-P

In the evening we went to visit Eva's sister Marit with her husband. Also her another sister and her brother came with their spouses. It was a really funny evening and we could not stop laughing. The next day I went skiing. Lovely weather, lovely slopes, enjoying the sun and speed. Aftter I ate the dinner I watched Chelsea - Arsenal and then eventaully finished my French homework about the history of France after 1789.

Takto pekne bolo v sobotu na ture. Toto je jeden z troch vrcholov Trysilfjelletu - Stensæterkanken 1078m. Druhy najvyssi.

It was so nice on the trip on Saturday. This is one of the three peaks of Trysilfjellet - Stensæterkanken 1078m. The second highest.

Et lite kikk i det svenske kjøkkenet - del 1

Hei sann! (Zdravicko!) Z norskej kuchyne uz toho vela nezostalo, takze musim odskocit pre inspiraciu do nasich modro-zltych susedov. Smörgöstårta (Typnite si, co znamena "tårta", ked vam poviem, ze a s gulickou sa cita ako "o" :-)) Ano, mate pravdu. Cely nazov by sa dal prelozit ako "torta à la oblozeny chlebik":-P. Cesto je z celozrnej muky. Na prvej vrstve cesta je pasteka s kyslymi uhorkami (preto mi to najprv pripominalo bagety z benziniek:-)). Potom je druha vrstva cesta, na ktorej je syrokrem so sunkou. Na tretej vrstve cesta je uz len majoneza a ozdobenie zeleninou. Zaujimave. Vobec nie zle.



Hei sann! (Hi!) There are not many meals left from the Norwegian kitchen so I had to get some inspiration at our yellow-blue neighbours. Smörgöstårta - "sandwich cake". On the first layer of dough, there is liver paste mixed with sour cucumbers. On the second soft cheese with ham and on the third only mayonese and vegetable decoration. Interesting. Not bad.

Lady sa topia --- The ice is melting

No tak zaciatok tohto tyzdna bol skutocne krasny. Od pondelka do stredy v kuse prsalo. To viedlo k tomu, ze sa lad na ceste roztopil. Lenze samozrejme, voda nema kam odtekat ked je na oboch stranach cesty metrova kopa snehu. Tak sa nam vytvorili poriadne kaluze a ist do skoly bolo dobrodruzstvo. Skoro ako beh cez prekazky, akurat ze som nebezal:-P. Raz idem po betone, potom sa smykam na lade a o chvilu musim ist cez kaluz minimalne 10 cm hlboku, lebo inakadial sa neda ist. A popri tom vsetkom davat pozor na to, aby si okolo kaluize nepresiel v rovnaky cas ako auto. Lebo to by bola poriadna sprcha:-D Nastastie su vodici v Norsku ohladuplni. V pondelok prisli na skolu prednasat rozni studenti o univerzitach. Hovorili o jednotlivych mestach, kde studuju, ake su tam smery, moznosti popri studiu, ako sa podava ziadost o studium. Tu v Norsku je zaujimave, ze pokial nejdes studovat nejaky umelecky smer, tak nemusis robit prijimacky. Ale myslim, ze potrebujes mat urcity pocet bodov z vysvedceni zo strednej skoly. Taktiez uzasny system je Staatens Lånekassa. Kazdy student, bez ohladu na to ci pochadza z vyssich alebo nizsich socialnych vrstiev, ma narok na pozicku od statu. Nepamatam si uz tie sumy, ale je to dost na to, aby si si zaplatil za jedlo a prenajom bytu. Po skonceni studia mas este 7 mesiacov, nez to musis zacat splacat. Uzasny system, ktory dava moznost hocikomu studovat kde len chce bez toho aby musel prihliadat na to, ci je to drahe alebo lacne mesto. Po skole ma spoluziak Rune odviezol domov (je dobre mat spoluziakov s vodicakom:-D), cim ma usetril brodenia cez vselijake kaluze. V utorok som s mojou skupinou na norstine odprezentoval o Camille Collett, ale inak sa toho vela neudialo. V stredu sme sa na stvorhodinovke sociologie hrabali na stranke Norskeho statistickeho uradu, kde sme hladali info o zamestnanosti v roznych odvetviach a rozdiely medzi muzmi a zenami. Nezamestnanost je tu 2,6%. Co ma vsak zaskocilo su obrovske rozdiely medzi platmi zien a muzov. Napriklad co sa tyka obchodnych sluzieb, tak zena dostava len 80 % platu muza. Ale aj tak su tu na ceste k rovnopravnosti blizsie ako v mnohych EU statoch. Po skole som sa vykaslal na bezky kvoli tomu pocasiu a radsej som pracoval na francuzstine. Stvrtok po skole sa uz ale pocasie zlepsilo, tak som si spravil taky maly vylet na bezkach. V piatok nam francuzstinar rozpraval o Provence - junej oblasti vo Francuzsku. To tam znelo ako uplny raj na Zemi. Musim tam raz ist. Na telesnej sme mali temu Koordinacia, Stale ma udivuje ako ti ucitalia dokazu z tak nezazivnej temy urobit taku srandu. Mali sme rozne cvicenia, kde sme mali robit viacere pohyby sucasne. Po vyucovani som zasiel do jedneho knihkupectva kupit listky na sobotnajsi koncert. Trysilsky orchester ma kazdorocne velkonocny koncert a vsetci hovorili, aki je uzasny. A navyse tam hralo mnoho ludi, ktorych poznam, tak som sa musel ist pozriet. V sobotu rano som vstal, vytiahol roletu, pozrel sa von oknom, uvidel krasnu modru oblohu a ihned si povedal, ze dnes pojdem na bezky a velmi daleko. Dal som si sardinky na ranajky, pockal kym Eva vstane a odvezie ma a vydal sa na cestu. Esteze som si zobral aj sveter, lebo je dost zima, ked slnko zajde za oblaky. Som zistil ze bezky by sa mohli pouzoivat proti nespavosti. Po 45 kilometrovej ture mi vela nechybalo a zaspal by som v sprche:-D Ale nakolko som musel ist na koncert, tak som sa prekonal. V kulturaku som sa stretol s Håvardom a Linusom a koncert onedlho zacal. To keby ste tam boli. Jeden z najlepsich koncertov na akom som kedy bol. "Dychberuci" je mozno to najvystiznejsie slovo. Cely orchester hral vynikajuco a spevaci prvotriedny. Na koncerte sa hrali piesne z filmov. Zacalo to ustrednou temou Mission impossible a pokracovalo cez Grease, Singing in the rain, Titanic az po jednu zaverecnu norsku piesen. Ja som bol uchvateny rovnako ako cele publikum - takze standing ovations na konci boli samozrejmostou. Potom som si este pozrel Housa a siel spat. Dnes som sa prebudil o pol osmej. To je urcite kvoli tomu svetlu vsade:-D Ale na dnes nemam ziadne velke plany. Ozvem sa buduci vikend. Idem si uzivat prazdniny:-P


Well, the beginning of the week was really "beautiful". It was raining the whole time from Monday til Wednesday. That was the cause that the ice on the road melted. But of course, if there is a 1 m high wall of snow on each side of the road, the water cannot flow away. So there were some parts of the road completely under water. and walking to school became an adventure. It was almost like steeplechase, only I did not run. I am walking on asphalt, little bit later I am trying to hold my balance on the ice and then making my way through the "ponds" on the pavement. And besides of this I have to be aware of the fact, that I can any time get a shower from the passing car :-D. Fortunately are the Norwegian drivers very respectful. On Monday, there were some students from Trondheim and Bergen telling us about the university opportunities in those towns. All about way to apply, subjects and student life. It is interesting, that you do not have to take exams if you want to study at university, unless you are going to study art, design and things like that. But I think you need to get enough points from the grades at high school. The next amazing thing is Staatens lånekassa. Every student, regardless of his social class, can borrow money from the state to study. I do not remember how much it was but it was definitely enough to cover all these food and living expenses. After finishing your studies, you have 7 months before you have to start paying money back. Very good system which gives the opportunity to study to everyone. After the school I got a lift home by my classmate Rune. It is good to have classmates with the driving licence:-P. So I was spared from going home in that terrible weather. On Tuesday, I presented together with my group some facts about Camilla Collett to the rest of the class but otherwise nothing interesting happened. On Wednesday, there were 4 lessons of sociology. We were finding some facts about the rate of unemployment and differences between men and women regarding work and education. The unemplyement rate is only 2,6%. But I was surprised over the differences in the salaries of men and women. For example a woman working in the store gets only 80 % of the salary a man would get. But despite of this is Norway further than any other EU states in the question of eqaulity of sexes. I did not go cross-country skiing because of the weather and decided to work with my French. But on the next day the weather got better so I mad a little trip. My French teacher was telling us about the Provence - the southern part of France. It sounds like a paradise ther. I will have to go there once. On PE, we had a topic called coordination. It is interesting how the teachers manage to make fun of everything, even if it does not sound like fun at all. After the school I went to buy tickets for the concert on Saturday. Trysil orchestra organizes each year a concert before the Easter. Everybody said to me that it was great. And many people I know played there, so I just had to go:-). Saturday morning I rolled up the roller blind, looked out of the window, saw the saphir-blue sky and thought: " I am going to take a very long cross-country trip." It is quite cold, when the skies cover the sun but I fortunately had a pullover. But I found out that cross-country skiing is a very good cure against insomnia. After 45 km I almost fell asleep in the shower:-D But I had to go to the concert... I met with Håvard and Linus in the theater and a bit later the concert began. I wish you coud have been there. One of the best concerts I have ever been on. "Breath-taking" is maybe the best word for it. The whole orchestra played fantastic and the singers were singing almost unbelievable. They played and sang the film songs. It began with Mission impossible and continued through James Bond, Grease, Titanic and ended with one Norwegian song. I was amazed as the rest of the audience and the standing ovations were obvious. After I came home, I watched House and went to sleep. Today I woke up at 7:30. I do not know why. It is sure because of the light everywhere:-D But I do not have any special plans for today. So I will be back next weekend. I am going to enjoy the holiday:-P

Trysiliaden

My mame sedacku pre deti len na bicykloch, Nori aj na sparkoch:-P Ale to len tak na okraj. Je tu opat vikend. Tyzden ubehol v pohode bez vacsich tazkosti. Na norstine sme dokoncili pripravy na prednasku o jednom norskom romantistickom autorovi. Sme rozdeleni do skupin po troch a nasa skupina ma o Camille Collett - zenskej autorke, ktora upozornovala na utlacanie zien v spolocnosti. V utorok sa spoluziacky na francuzstine stazovali ze ten projekt nedokazu urobit a ze je to velmi tazke. No ucitel nepovolil. Nastastie. Aspon nech to maju trocha tazke v tej skole. Uz mam vyse jednej strany od revolucie po Napoleonov pad:-) Som na seba hrdy:-P. Ale este to potrva kym to dokoncim. Na matematike sme dostali naspat pisomku. 5+. Takze OK. Len som porobil zopar sprostych chyb. Vecer sme boli na vecernom lyzovani. Uz sa to ani neda nazvat vecerne lyzovanie - ked sme tam o 6tej prisli, bolo este svetlo:-). Tak sme sa trocha pozabavali na roznych skokoch, dali si horucu cokoladu a sli domov. Elisina a Idina mama ma odviezla domov, napriek tomu ze to mali dost od ruky, kedze teraz byvaju na chate, lebo doma prerabaju. Velmi mili ludia:-D. V stredu po skole som siel na lyze, pretoze bolo skarede pocasie. Bolo to fajn, malo ludi, este celkom dobre svahy. Vo stvrtok bola tzv. Trysiliada. Je to vlastne beh na lyziach a rozne sportove aktivity pre ludi s mentalnym postihnutym z okolitych okresov, aj svedskych. Je to tu uz taka tradicia. Na obed a tanecnu zabavu idu potom do nasej telocvicne. Zopar fotiek je na stranke skoly. My ostatni sme ale mali skolu. Na dejepise sme dostali za tu pracu o kolonizacii Ameriky 6ku:-P Mam to dobre rozbehnute tento polrok. Po skole som siel na bezky. Bol tazky sneh a navyse som nemal zrovna prazdny zaludok, takze sa slo tazko:-P Ale slniecko krasne svietilo, len troska fukalo. Clovek tu uz teraz nema problemy opalit sa. A cez velkonocne to tu bude uz kopa slnka. Aspon dufam. V piatok na francuzstine prisiel jeden profesor telesnej do triedy a zoznamil ma s Lenkou, Ceskou, ktora je v Elverume na stazi. Ucitel si myslel, ze som Cech, (a to bol uz druhy v priebehu par dni, ale ja som si uz zvykol:-P - aj ked by mohli vediet z kadial je ten jediny zahranicny student na skole)tak ze ma potesi. Este ze su si Slovaci a Cesi taki blizki:-P) Po francuzstine sme mali telesnu, kde sme robili rozne gymnasticke cviky. Najvacsia sranda bola robit zivu pyramidu a este pri tom byt aj kreativny:-P. Vecer sme boli s Evou a Atlem pozvani na veceru k jednemu anglickemu manzelskemu paru, ktory chodi do Trysilu uz niekolko rokov. S Evou sa uz velmi dobre poznaju a dokonca ju pozvali na svadbu ich syna. Je to vsak v Izraele, takze Eva vaha:-P. Mohla by ma poslat namiesto nej:-D. Ona je Francuzka a on Iracan, takze zaujimava kombinacia. Ale pripravili vybornu veceru. Potom sme este chvilu posedeli pri kave, podakovali sa a odisli. Cestou domov sme skoro zrazili srnku, ale nakoniec sme bezpecne dosli. Ked sme prisli, bolo okolo 10 hodin, takze najvyssi cas ist spat:-P Dobry spanok je zdravy:-) V sobotu bol medzinarodny den zien - teda aspon v Norsku (MDM tu napriklad maju uz vo februari), tak som rano skocil do mesta kupit dve kytice. Na poludnie som isiel s Håvardom a Elisou na lyze. Pocasie nic moc, ale vsade bubny, takze to bola uplne super lyzovacka. Vecer bol na oplatku pozvany francuzsko-iracky par na veceru ku nam. Eva pripravila uzasne lasagne so salatom a cesnakovou bagetou. Potom dezert, posedenie a mohli ist naspat na svoju chatu. Ja som si este pozrel jeden film a siel spat. Na druhy den sme sa prebudili do rana bez elektrickeho prudu. Az vtedy si clovek uvedomi, ako je od neho zavisli. Tym, ze mame elektricky sporak sa rozplynuli moje plany o nedelnom hemendexe. Ale okolo 12:00 prud znova nabehol. Johnov brat Tore prisiel s manzelkou na navstevu - kavicka a kolacik. Pozreli sme si biatlonovy pretek v Rusku, a to ma vzdy nastartuje do nejakej fyzickej aktivity. Aj tak som sa citil taky rozkysnuty z jedenia a sedenia. Rychla 12 km tura na bezkach mi pomohla. Bol ale dost lepkavy sneh a nemali sme na neho vhodny vosk, takze sa slo dost o nicom. Teraz si uz asi len spravim nejake ulohy z matiky a zajtra ako zvycajne spat do skoly... Pekny zvysok vikendu




We have a seat for small children only on bicycles, the Norwegians also on sparks:-) Just to mention. Weekend is here again. The school week is over without any big difficulties. On Norwegian lessons, we are finished with the preparations for a presentation about one Norwegian romantistic author. We are divided into groups of three and my group had to find out something about Camilla Collett - a woman who wrote about the suppression of women at that time. On Tuesday, my classmates were complaining over the French presentation about the history of France from 1789. They were unsuccessful and we have to do it. Fortunately. Thay can at least learn that school should not be easy. I have more than one side now, and I am proud about it - with my level of French:-) But it will take some time until it I am finished. On Math, we got the exam back. 5+. That is OK. I made some foolish mistakes but otherwise it was good. In the evening we went skiing. I cannot call it evening skiing anymore because the sun was still shining at 6 o'clock when we arrived:-). So we jumped a bit and drank hot chocolate. Mom til Elisa and Ida drove me home, although it was a detour for them. Very nice people:-).Wednesday afternoon I went skiing, because the weather was bad. It was fun, good slopes and not many people. On Thursday a so called Trysiliada took place i Trysil. It is actually a ski run and various sports activities for mental disabled people from the counties in the vicinity, also from Sweden. It is a tradition here in Trysil. After the competition, thay eat and dance in the gym hall in our school. You can find some photos on my school's web side. But we had to be at school. I got 6from the work about the colonization of America:-) I am following the right line this term:-P After the school I went cross-country skiing. The snow was wet and my belly was not particularly empty, so it was tough to go:-P. But the sun was shining. If only the wind had not blown so strong. You do not have problems with sunbathing at this time of the year. And during the Easter holidays we are all awaiting a lot of sunshine. On Friday, we had a French lesson and one of the PE teachers came and introduced me to Lenka, a Czech girl, who is living in Elverum for a while. The teacher thought I am a Czech ( and he was already the second during the last few days, but I have already got used to it:-P Even though they could know, where is the only exchange student at the school from) so he thought he would make me happy. Fortunately are the Czechs and Slovaks so close to each other:-P. After the French lesson we had PE. We did gymnastics. The funniest thing was making a pyramide and being creative:-P It took some time until we made it. In the evening, Eva, Atle and me were invited for a dinner by one English married couple. They have known Eva in many years and they have even invited her to their son's wedding in Izrael. She is French and he is Iraqi. They prepared a delicious dinner for us. We drank a bit of coffe, said thank you and went home. On the way back we almost collided with a deer but eventually we made it home safely. When we came, it was around 10 o'clock - the best time to go to sleep:-P - the sleep is essential for me. On Saturday, it was The international day of women - at least in Norway (I have already experienced some differences between Slovakia and Norway regarding the dates of international days). So I went to the flower shop and bought two bunches of flowers. At 12:00 I went skiing together with Håvard and Elise. The weather was not beautiful but it was fun to ski - many bumps on the slopes. In the evening, the French-Iraqi couple was invited for a dinner to us. Eva prepared delicious lasagne with salad and garlic baguette. Then dessert, chatting and they went back home. I watched one film after that and then went to sleep. On the next day we woke up without the electrocity. First then you can see how much we depend on it:-P But at 12:00 was everything alright. John's brother Tore came with his wife for a visit so we drank a bit of coffe and ate some cakes. Then I watched the biathlon race in Russia. That made me to go cross-country skiing because I felt badly of just sitting and eating. A quick 12 km long trip made me feel better. I think I will now just make some homeworks from the math and tomorrow as usually back to school... Have a nice rest of the weekend.

Sweet rumble je kazdorocna sutaz organizovana firmou Sweet protection, ktora pochadza z Trysilu a vyraba helmy, krokodily, nakolenniky a take podobne veci. Medzi sponzormi su aj Gore-tex alebo Discovery channel. Cize sutaz ma skutocne vysoku uroven. Na youtube som vyvesil styri videjka zo sutaze:

Sweet rumble is an annual competition organized by Sweet protection. It is a company producing helms and protection equipment in general. It comes even from Trysil. This competition is sponsored also by Gore-tex or Discover channel - that shows that it is a really big competition. I posted some videos on youtube. You will find links in the slovak version of this article.

Posledny februarovy tyzden --- The last week in February

Len predchvilou som sem prisiel a uz je to zrazu 6 mesiacov od prichodu. A z toho 4 mesiace tu uz mame samy sneh a pomaly mi uz zacina liezt hore krkom. Hlavne ked citam golfove casopisy:-P Tyzden ale ako kazdy iny. V pondelok sme na anglictine pozerali (ano, opat) Goodbye Bafana - film o Nelsonovi Mandelovi. Celkom pekne sa im tam vsetko podarilo vyobrazit. Na nemcine sme mali prekladat kratke norske pribehy do nemciny, takze som sa aspon nenudil. V utorok sme na nemcine boli ustne preskusany z clanku o povojnovom Nemecku a na matematike sme pisali pisomku. Hadam dobre dopadne. V stredu stvorhodinovka francuzstiny. Ucitel nam oznamil, ze do 1.5. musime mat hotovy projekt o Francuzsku po roku 1789, ktory budeme prezentovat. Ono by to bolo uz dost narocne aj keby sme vedeli po francuzsky... Ale nevadi, to sa nejako spravi:-) Po skole som nesiel na bezky, lebo Eva bola chora. Tak som doma trocha popracoval na tom projekte a uvaril spagety na veceru. Na druhy den sociologia. Normalne ma to zacina bavit. Teraz preberame ucivo o vyrobe a dvoch roznych druhoch zaobchadzania so svojimi zamestnancami. Kopu odbornych vyrazov, ale zaujimave. Eva sa uz uzdravila, tak som siel na bezky. Ale len tak kratsie, lebo sa mi nejak extra nechcelo. V piatok rano som si precital e-mail od nasej prievidzskej nemcinarky, ze hladaju partnersku skolu z Norska, Islandu alebo Lichtenstajnska. Asi je to opat hlavne o zivotnom prostredi a nemcine. Ale bola by to sranda vymenny pobyt Prievidza - Trysil :-D Rozpraval som sa o tom s kompetentnou osobou a preberu to v pondelok na schodzi. Tak uvidime.Na telesnej sme mali temu tanec. Dost som sa toho hrozil :-D, ale bola to sranda. Robili sme nieco co sa volalo telefonovy tanec - dostali sme harok papiera s cislami 0-9 a ku kazdemu cislu bol priradeny urcity cvik - sadnut na zadok, kotrmelec, mlynske koleso... Kazda skupina mala potom napisat 8 ciferne cislo a podla neho predviest tanec s roznymi cvikmi. Na dejepise som s Linusom dokoncil ulohu o pricinach a nasledkoch kolonizacie Ameriky a po anglictine sa zacal vikend. V sobotu som si spravil 17 km. Poobede bola sutaz v skakani na lyziach a snowboarde - Sweet rumble. Boli tam najlepsi lyziari a snowboardisti z Norska a este zopar Svedov a Americanov. Islo sa vyradovacim systemom v oboch kategoriach. Kazdy sutaziaci spravil jeden trik a porota rozhodla ktory z dvoch pojde do dalsieho kola. Takto nakoniec zostali dvaja lyziari a dvaja snowboardisti. Kazdy mal k dispozicii tri skoky, pricom ak prehral prve dva, tak prehral definitivne. Vitazny lyziar a snowboardista dostal kazdy 50000 NOK. Aj tak nechapem ze chcu tak velmi riskovat svoje zdravie. Ale vyzera to coolovo. V nedelu sme isli na vystavu polovnictva, rybarstva a vsetkeho co ma spolocne so zivotom v prirode. Bolo to v Hamare - meste vzdialenom asi 90 km - a na stadione Vikingska lod, ktory bol dejiskom OH '94 v Lillehammeri. Cela ta stavba vyzera ako obratena vikingska lod. Na vystave boli rozne druhy stanov, udic, pusiek... Proste vsetko. Na veceru sme mali sobie masko. A zachvilu tu mame novy tyzden...




It was just a moment ago I came here and now I have already 6 months behind me. 4 months from it with snow which I am gradually beginning to dislike. Especially when I read the golf magazines :-P. This week was as all the weeks before. On Monday we watched (yes, again) a film about Nelson Mandela - Goodbye Bafana - on the English lesson. On German we had to translate short stories from Norwegian to German. it was quite interesting. Next day we had an oral exam from an article about the Berlins wall and we had a math exam. I thint it will be fine. On Wednesday 4 hours French. Our teacher informed us about the project that should be done until the 1. of May. It should be about the France after 1789. And we should present it in French. It would be difficult enough even if we could speak French... But we will surely manage it somehow...:-D. I was not cross-country skiing because Eva was sick. So I worked with the project for a while and then made spaghetti for dinner. Sociology on the next day. It is really fun. Loads of complicated expressions but fun. We are now learning about production and two different ways of treating the employees. Eva get rid of flu so I was on a short cross-country trip after the school. Friday morning I read an e-mail from a German teacher from Slovakia. They are looking for a school in Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein to co-operate with. It will be for sure again about environmental protection and German language. It would be interesting: cooperation Prievidza - Trysil :-D. I told the person responsible for these kind of trips about it and they will speak about it on Mondays meeting. We will see.We had a topic dance on PE. I was afraid of it:-D but it was very amuzing. We danced something called " the telephone dance". We got a sheet of paper with numbers 0-9. Each number had one movement - jump, sit, roll forwards... Then we had to write 8 numbers and dance according to them. On History, Linus and me finished off the work about the causes and consequences of colonization of America. And after the English weekend began. On Saturday 17 km of cross-country skiing. I n the afternoon there was a ski and snowboard jump competition - The sweet rumble. Only the best from Norway were invited. There were also some Swedes and Americans. In each category competed always two against each other and jury decided which one goes to next round. Eventually there were only two in each category. They had three jumps and if one won the first two, he was the winner. The two best - one on ski and one on snowboard - got both 50 000 NOK. They were really good. I actually do not get it why they risk their health. :-D But it looks cool. On Sunday we went to Hamar - a city 90 km away - to visit Wild life expo. It was in the Viking's ship - the stadium used during the olympic games '94 in Lillehammer. There was everything about fishing, hiking and hunting. A variety of fishing poles, tents, rifles... Everything. Yepp, a new week will begin soon...
